  • hello SmashGuitar, I just don't get it, if The Run off ph is estimated to be the half way point between the PH going in vs the root zone, how does 6.5 in, 7.5 out = 8.5??? what am I missing?

If you water with 6.0 PH then you measure the run off 7.0 PH then the root zone is 8.0 PH. So the difference between your PH water and the run off is 1 ph then add 1 ph more to the run off it will the estimated root zone ph. if the difference is only .5 between watering and run off then add .5 to the run off that is if run off is higher then your original ph of watering. if the run off is lower then subtract the difference. This is my understanding.
