Obi-Wan’s Jedi OG Grow

This will be my first run with regular seeds, Ocean Grown’s Jedi OG. I ordered a 10 pack and as is normal for them, they packed 12 seeds. I germinated all 12 seeds and it appears as though I will get a 100% germination rate. I’m not setup to do 12 plants in DWC and I wasn’t going to spend the money to upgrade only to end up pulling males, so this grow is in Coco. My plan is to veg just long enough to take clones from all of the plants. Once I can confirm a plant is male , I will discard him and his clones. 1 good keeper is all I’m looking for, but I may keep more if they’re worth it.

They’re under my DIY Quantum Board fixture. I have it set at 125 watts, 30” above the seedlings.

Nice setup. Do you know the color temp. I thought I would be good with a fluorescent for seedlings but maybe not. I’ve never grown from seed before. Just clones.

The boards I used are 3000k. This is my first round of veg under this fixture but I’m confident it’ll do well.

That's the height I do my seedlings with my 450 vipar with the blue/white veg light. I get very tight nodes when under them.

Day 22 above ground for these plants. They’re all pushing out they’re 4th node. I’m going to give them another week in the solo cups and then transplant to 1/2 gallon square pots.

Day 29 for this group. I transplanted them on Day 25, removing the first node and giving them a good solid drenching of nutrient feed at 1.0 EC/pH 6.0. I left them alone until this morning so they could dry out a bit. I do this so the roots will reach out into their new space.

Day 25 right after transplanting, notice some of the leaves touching the coco.

Day 27, 2 days after transplant. The leaves have picked up and the plants look happier.

Morning Obi-Wan if I may ask...what type of light and how far are those away from it? PS they look like little students sitting still in class all attentive.

I’m using my DIY HLG-QB132, 3000k fixture. It’s currently set at 150 watts, 40” inches from the tops of the plants. This is my first round of Veg with this light so I’m trying to test the boundaries of the fixture.

Thank you for posting that. I've just set my clones outdoors in a tent on my screened in patio. Outside temps this a.m. are 38f. My tent with just 1 110watt veg light and heat lamp in it only 65f 55%humidity. I had no other choice my clone table lamp is full. They sit a close to 30" man I sure hope they can make it.

My grow space is in my basement and this tent is averaging 65-67 F and 30-40% RH. It’s not ideal but I’m not going to take any measures to increase Temp or Humidity, Spring’s right around the corner!!
