I challenge you to a duel!

Doesn't have to be the biggest to win does it Mr.furley ? I thought if I grew the best looking autoflower..........

I think the trickiest part to this challenge is - How does one modify or improve the capability of the red solo cup.
Obviously we will all be poking holes in the bottom - but why stop there? Hehehe
Is it better to have some small rocks on the bottom to help improve drainage? Or not?
To LST or no LST?
I have a pretty good idea what I will do.
 
Correct Canuck147 it's not just a big plant contest and dry weight will have nothing to do with it.
The words "cup appeal" roll of the tongue almost, I can't speak for the judge for what will be the wow factor. it is going to be very important to figure out how to contain the plant keep it healthy, and grow the best it can grow for a small container, is Coco the best? What mix ratio? perlite? All perlite? So many possibilities, so little cup.

Thank you Mr.furley Everytime I see that name I have an urge for an ice cream from ye ole ice cream van. If that isn`t subliminal advertizing I don`t know what is...usually it`s called Mr Whippy but that sounds a tad pervy here
 
That's funny PaganRich because everytime I hear ice cream I think of nice dreams and want to go smoke weed and watch Cheech and Chong. Athough Mr.Whippy could be a great name for your solo cup, could you imagine putting the beat down on people with a plant called Mr.Whippy it would be historical.
 
s62 The red strains like Dark Devil and Black Cream are really nice auto`s as well coming from same strains kinda thing and big buds though with these reds the buds need good air flow as bud rot inside can occur. Only time I`ve had it actually but I really do recommend them and grinding up black buds is a nice talking point and I have had them turn that very deep dark almost black , red colour
 
Nope I'm using super soil. Already have the cup sitting with red wigglers (worms growing in the cup.) I have decided to go full "Korean no till" methods for the grow. What I mean is good soil to start, some top dressing, some fermented vegetable teas in growth and fermented fruit tea at the end. So super soil and natural growing at its best.

I'll have no chance against a full coco grow with none natural nutrients but bet mine will taste the best.
 
Glad you are in homegrown
You can start and grow as many as you like, when it comes to the judging side of the grow off you can only enter one plant, the judging side of the grow off is not mandatory to be part off the grow off thread but the kicker for the competitive ones.

PaganRich Tagged me. I haven’t decided if I’m gonna grow this winter or not. I have everything for my grow nice and ready. If I do I’ll be growing lemon ak47 autos. I was laughing with Rich the other day and even showed him my stack of bags of soil on my porch...lmao. I may have to kick y’alls asses again, just as long as I don’t have another fire😂

back in the 80s I went to school for electronics for the digital part we had to build a car horn that worked , I made a ice cream truck sounding horn ,on hot days I would blow the horn on one block then go over 2 blocks and hit it again had the wee ones running all over hell looking for the truck ,evil bastard that I am lol.
I thought about using super soil but didn't think it wouldn't go the grow so I decided on coco, could do 8 plants and feed them a bunch of times a day ,hmmm maybe a sea of green nope that wont work to many to feed
 
That’s awesome! But if my dad ever did that, I would have been running out the back door. 😂🤣🤣😉
