GWE & Mental Health

Whenever I sample some of my grow I tend to discover holes in time as well. I have theorized it must be akin to time dilation.

Redwasp Thank you for those kind words mate. I have sent you a private message back. The fact that this raised a chat here alone shows that it is a topic for a hell of a lot of people. I`ve spent so much of my life with folk that live on `Society`s` edges and found that those with the roughest edges can sometimes have the smoothest natures to gel along with. Not always though :D Gotta take the rough with the smooth and that counts for folk too. Within reason. :)

The whole world runs rampant with malignant narcissism; I agree with everything said above. This is a very special place and Nebula takes very good care of it. I always flag comments and send her a msg. when someone is being hostile.

One of my favorite expressions, from Spanish: It's better to walk alone than in bad company. Mejor andar solo que mal acompañado...

Toripony It wasn`t easy to tell people generally I wasn`t well. As a bloke you just don`t do that over here but that trend is changing. Hell, there`s even hard core bikers on anti-depressants and we`re talking hard core for over here. Yet bringing it out into the open hopefully starts to break the bias. The really scary thing is just how many people are struggling quietly within their headspace, alone. That`s why I think weed is so important if done correctly, as well as respectful Forums for the reasons you said. Man I know that black zone. Talk to a few lads and there`s a lot got that baby wrapped up well and truly tight. Hard place that. I went to an Emotional Intensity Disorder group for 16 weeks. I was the only dude there. Me and 15 women. Now, I`m not a wuss but I trod carefully cos there was a lot of suppressed relationship anger/ non appreciation so as a token bloke it could have gone tits up on occasions. What came out was that the women didn`t appreciate that guys had similar issues. I `ve met so many people who have only survived by self medicating using drink and/ or drugs. I think acknowledging issues and seeing that others are the same will start to undermine this whole area. Something`s going wrong for too many people. But you`re certainly not alone and like you, internet is one of the few outlets I use to socialise. It gives control. Good chat :)

Howdy PaganRich, Glad to hear from you again, just yesterday, I was wondering why I had not seen any posts from you. I have learned, over the years, that everyone has, to one degree or an other, mental issues and only the strongest can admit to it, and only the bravest try to deal with it.
Hang in there pardner!

Going to the coast friday to say goodbye to the toughest man I ever knew. My wife's grandfather. He got lung cancer and decided he was done fighting. Cant even imagine the man ever accepting defeat. But it is what it is. So if you wonder if im broken yea I am. Will i keep walking towards the fight that is life? Yes. Ill never stop. Will I ever be in his shoes? Maybe but wont be half the man he was.

Trust his decision, Redwasp: if he was ready to go, then he was ready to go. We all have the right to die as we choose, I believe.
Maybe death isn't a defeat: maybe it's just a passage to another realm...

Thanks. Just so much so fast. Starting to build up. Dont want to build up a wall so thick no one can get through but tired of the pain.

alltatup Redwasp It takes a lot of courage to sometimes say enough. If you`ve fought all your life and been strong then to break that patten also takes courage and strength. Sometimes you also just want to go out on your own terms, take that one last big decision. Sounds like he was still fighting to the last but in a different way. I respect that. The fact that you wrote those nice words about him says all you need to know about the bloke. I`m sorry for you and your wife`s loss mate but he was lucky in having a family like yours that thought so lovingly about him as you were in knowing him.

I would bet cash, that you graduated from some fine college though.
Or either you are -were a prolific reader of books, from childhood. And some smart Parents too.
I'm thinking your parents were from the art field. Like teaching or music. I ain't never been wrong before , just saying, lol.
