Grow tent too hot. (I think)

Distilled water should be neutral ph, the exposure to air causes the ph to read a bit lower than 7.

Lower or higher?
Dioxygen(O2) oxidize water according to this equation
O2 + 2 H2O + 4 e[SUP]-[/SUP] -> 4OH[SUP]-[/SUP]

So basically existence of dioxygen in the water should raise the pH because it produces Hydroxide ion and reduce the Power of Hydrogen ion.

Am i wrong?

It's reaction to co2, not oxygen that causes the ph to drop slightly. Carbonic acid begins to form due to co2 dissolving in the water as soon as the water is exposed to air.

If bark is 60% of the composition I don't think sifting is going to be enough. Hmmm, I wonder if they accidentally packaged it with the wrong formulation? It's so strange I even went and confirmed with them on chat that it shouldn't have bark! Could you go to the store where you got this and ask them if they have a version of this soil without bark? I'm sorry you're having so much trouble :( I wish it was easier/cheaper to ship from the USA!
