Grow 7: A Tale of Two Bubbas

I ended up watering that night. Forgot that my little container of Megacrop was pretty much empty, and the rest of the Megacrop was upstairs in my room. So the plants all got a minimal dose of nutes because I wasn't going to go back upstairs and then back downstairs.

I wish I was a ninja but that was not the case lol. They did get watered though, which they desperately needed lol

Today is day:

93 for the Bubba Kush
64 for the Bubba Cheese and White Widow CBD

For the most part everyone is happy and healthy. There are some spots on the leaves due to lack of watering. Couldn't water when I needed to because I had an inlaw stay over longer than I anticipated.

The Bubba Kush is getting closer to harvest, but still no Amber trichomes to be found. Most of the trichs are cloudy and almost all the hairs are orange so I know harvest is just around the corner.

The Bubba Cheese is getting bigger nugs than I was anticipating, which is always a good thing lol. Almost undoubtedly the tallest plant I've grown to date.

The White Widow CBD is making me sad it's a CBD plant, because it looks like it has the potential to be some great smoke. I've never grown a normal (thc) White Widow, but am definitely interested in growing one after this round. I plan to make this plant into mainly capsules to see how the CBD oil helps medicinally.

Getting closer and closer to the end of this grow, and am already thinking about the next one lol.

Have a great day everyone

Today is day:
102 for Bubba Kush
73 for Bubba Cheese and White Widow CBD

The Bubba Kush continues to get closer to harvest, but I'm still not seeing any Amber trichomes so she will carry on for a little longer. Her top leaves are pretty yellow, and I believe it's coming from slight light burn. Other than that she is looking pretty healthy.

The Bubba Cheese is also looking pretty good for the most part. She is the plant that is taking over the tent in this run with her sativa characteristics. She has the most noticeable light burn because of her height, and I cannot raise my lights any higher.

The White Widow CBD surprised me. One day, she had mainly white hairs. I checked the tent a day and a half after that, and almost all her hairs turned orange. I've never seen hairs change that quickly. She is looking very good overall, and her smell reminds me of grizzly mint chewing tobacco. Very interested to smoke her based on her smell.

I say it all the time, but I'm stoked for harvest time! And it's getting closer everyday.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Today is day:

105 for the Bubba Kush
76 for the Bubba Cheese and White Widow CBD

All of the plants are doing well and looking pretty healthy overall. I'm thinking the 2 younger ones will be ready to harvest very shortly after the Bubba Kush. They are much farther along at this point than the bubba Kush was.

All the smells are powerful and completely different from one another. The White Widow CBD smells like mint and fruit, the Bubba Kush is earthy and pungent, and the Bubba Cheese is unique and hard to describe.

My next round will be a throwback to my first grow ever, almost 2 years ago. I'll be growing Jock Horror auto from Nirvana. My first plant that I took down yielded a whopping 3.5 g all due to operator error. The next one yielded 2 oz. That one was also stunted from my error, but not as had as the first one.

I'm excited to see how this strain will grow with a little experience in my belt.

Have a great week everyone

Just catching up on this thread because the title caught my eye. Looks great!

Had some Bubba Kush for first time from dispensary the other day and really enjoyed it. Now I want to grow it!

It's almost like we planned it! Or we just can't stop growing, and as soon as one goes out, one goes in 😂

Although there's a month difference between the bubba Kush and the other 2, I think they will be ready at the same time 👍

Well, well, well...what have we here?

Harvest Day!

Took all 3 of my girls down on Monday, which made them at day:

112 for Bubba Kush
83 for Bubba Cheese and White Widow CBD

Luckily for me, everyone was ready to go at the same time.

In order of denseness: Bubba Cheese, Bubba Kush, White Widow CBD.

In order of theoretical weight: Bubba Kush, Bubba Cheese, White Widow CBD. (It's going to be really close between the Bubba's. It could really go either way. If I didn't accidentally snap one of the Bubba Cheese's main branches early on, I think it would have been the winner.)

I'm guesstimating around just under a lb for this whole grow, let's hope I'm way off lol.

This is the first time my lights get to take a break since I have been growing. I have ran these lights 24/7 since I got them around a year and a half ago (minus a couple days in between one harvest.) I think I'll be taking a week or 2 break from growing. I know I won't be in need of bud for a while, so why not?

As always, thanks to everyone who has helped me reach my potential of growing from this website. I don't think it would have been nearly this easy without the help of everyone in this community, especially when I first started.

Here's the pics!

The Gang and the aftermath

From left to right: Bubba Cheese, Bubba Kush, White Widow CBD. I felt it was only right to leave the long branches on the Bubba Cheese because of how much it stretched. Unlike any plant I've grown so far!

Although the 2 on the right in the Birdseye view don't look like an "x," they were. Just ended up cutting closer to the main on those I guess lol.

I was able to make use of my tent since I have nothing going in it right now. Lights are off, enclosed area, and have one little fan on in there, along with the carbon fan and filter.

Congratulations on a successful grow! Loving how that Bubba Kush turned out. Not a fan of White Widow in general, but yours looks too good to pass up.

Any regrets with the Auto Cobs? They're on the short list of potential LED lighting options for my new 8x4 space. Seems like i would need 8-10 of them for that size space. Not sure if they would scale well. Thoughts?
