Your plant is going into deficiency. It looks like a calcium/magnesium deficiency but without know more about what you are feeding the plant, what media type you are using, etc, it's hard to say but cal/mag deficiencies are common with these plants. Do you have some prepared calcium/magnesium solution to supplement the plant. Epsom Salt will work in a pinch if you don't.

From the looks of it you are in week 3 of flower?

Hey everyone, Upper leaves are drying and burning, not sure what's wrong, tried changing temperature, moving the light, adjusting humidity, flushed the pots two days ago just in case but don’t know if it’ll help, haven’t added Cal-Mag yet, is this a calcium/magnesium deficiency or still nutrient burn? Should I remove the damaged leaves? Soil Biobizz Light Mix, nutrients Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect. Day 73 of flowering.

I don't think so. Yours looks like an unusual nute burn...the colours are off but it could just be the pics.

Have you got any yellowing in the margins? That with brown edges is often potassium deficiency but I don't see that.

How much nute are you giving it and how often?

Check the pH too

Hello, I started my first grow.
hydro, 400w, did follow the Bubbleponics guide by nebula.
these are 2 week old clones, it’s more of an prototype run, get experience and started into growing =)

my question just: how long does the plants needs, till leaves not droopy anymore?

had catastrophic failure with ph at day 3, after checking found the Rockwool soaked/filtered some of the ph-up stuff somehow. This caused the ph rise over time. (Rockwool was ph‘ed before starting)
Removed the rockwool blocks, made fresh reservoir. Ph stable for now. Seen nice white roots coming (no pics, don’t wanted loose time).

Can it be overwatering too? I did setup like in bubbleponics guide. Watering is permanent, right? The pipes are below jiffy’s. The jiffy’s feels dry at top.

are there known issues of using TriPart Flora Series by Terra Aquatica, Advanced Natural Power (Enzymes) by Advanced Hydro and ph-up(+down) from Biobizz?
hardly wanted the original hydroguard, but hard to get in Germany/Europe…
just puzzled, how this can happen in the Rockwool cubes…

some pics following

edit1: leaves going up slightly

Are you checking and adjusting your pH down daily?

I don't bother with a hydroguard or similar using aeroponics but change over the reservoir and givevit a rinse out every week.

I don't use Rockwell, it does have a natural pH quite some way away from where you want it, can't remember if it really low or high, I think low.

are you aerating the mix and what temps is the mix sitting at

At first: the leaves going up slightly, the new leaves seems fine.

Yes, 2-3 times a day. After adjusting ph is stable for couple of hours. But next day it’s again back around 7-8…
Did new reservoir yesterday, added only tripart at 25% strength. No encymes this time. Rockwool already removed, (it has natural ph of around 8, did prepared them before).
It feels like the jiffy’s got still saved the fckd ph waters from the beginning. That’s the only way I can explain, why the ph climb up after a day.
Or is it just normal, the ph rises every day that much? O.o
Have air pump and 2 air stones in it making bubbles, would be no bubbleponic otherwise.. ;)
Actually no thermometer for the reservoir (already on my shopping list) (water feels cold, would say something around 15-18°?)
Have aluminum foil on topf of reservoir to reflect the direct heat of lamp.

Maybe I should just keep going, until all the ph leftovers in the system stable? (Sure flushed all the stuff except the jiffy’s, they was dry..)

Did started germinate 3 seeds in soil.
I just started and want to learn and get experience =)
Maybe I will start an new topic about my grow..

Following some photos:

€dit: can’t post photos in comment, will post them in an new post :]

U can see in photos the purple stems, which caused by wrong ph (if I understand correctly)
(2 plants topped, hydro front and back right, topped stems visible on photos)

€dit: checked ph again few min ago, at 5,0 actually. Will be higher in few hours x)

€dit2: seen first roots comin out of the basket =)

All good

The pH naturally rises with the airstone. You should pH it at 5.8 and let it rise for 24 hours then reset it back to 5.8. It will rise to varying amounts in that time but don't worry about that. Getting close to 7 is not unusual. I run my pump and airstones on timers...I give the airstones a run similar to the pumps which slows down the pH climb and probably gives a slightly lower number after 24hrs..but I can hit 6.8 even with reduced bubbles.

¼ strength nutes on clones is what in EC? I run clones at 0.3 EC to develop roots....temp of solution may be fine, I run mine around 20 to 22⁰C. To increase temps I just run the pump a bit longer. PPFD you'll need more than 70 and less than 150. I run it midway till roots have developed.

Get yourself an Apera PC60. It measures pH, EC and temps perfectly every time if used correctly. Get it from the Apera Amazon shop along with storage fluid and calibration fluid, EC & pH.

Oh, thanks! That’s what I needed to hear…. The ph rises naturally with the airstone….
Didn’t expect that much
Ec/pc meter already on shopping list, have to wait till next month for fresh money x)

Well…. If ph at 6,0 it’s after 3 hours already up at 8,0…. Can’t be normal…
had unplugged one tube from air pump (it has 2 outputs) so actually only one airstone is active… 😭
Don’t know what to do… give reservoir 4ml ph-down every 4 hours? O.o

glad I started 3 seeds in soil

I've mostly used soapy water but I won't spray it on developed buds. Works well for most pests but depends what it is you're dealing with
