thank you for the quick reply!! did you notice the slight orange/yellow at the edge of the leaf in the first photo? thats what pulled me away from the bug possibility. Im getting a water pulverizer and i think that will help humidifying the medium? because right now i kinda just pour over around the plant

What you want to do is to wet the ENTIRE media but to do that you need to water slowly to allow the media to soak up the water. If you are in cloth pots and water starts to run out of the side then you are watering too fast.

The yellowing could be some sort of lockout. Typically, yellowing and crispy edges means calcium or magnesium deficiency. The bugs, to me, are just a sign of a plant that isn't 100% healthy meaning its defenses get lowered a bit which will attract bugs. Like anything in nature, the powerful prey on the weak. If you have bugs it usually means your plant has something going on it doesn't like or that you aren't giving it.

The plant has good color so it is mostly healthy but might need some cal/mag supplementation.

If you want to try and eradicate the bugs I would start with an insecticidal soap solution. This is the mildest way for you to kill an infestation as long as it isn't too bad. Water, dish soap and vegetable oil. Spray the entire plant down. top and bottom of leaves. Bugs like to hide and lay eggs on the bottom of leaves where they aren't exposed.

Soapy water is a really good first step to remove pests and bugs you can't remove by hand and dishwashing liquid works a treat on most things but full coverage is essential as roots said. Don't drown your medium in it though. And it's not too harsh on your plants.

Growing in a layered medium of different stuff ie. soil in one layer, coco in another, would have me struggling to manage it properly with pH and how to feed it and when and how often.

I agree with @bluey

Laying out different media horizons is going to make your grow harder to manage. I use horizons in my pot but I put hotter compost at the bottom and regular potting mix for the rest of the media. This way when the tap hits the compost horizon the root system should be mature enough to handle it.

update: im still waiting on the pulverizer (to spread the insecticide/wet the medium properly) and the ph down because i think its interfering with nutrient absorbtion, but today i found this super yellow leaf and wanted to show you guys because maybe it confirms a specific nutrient defficiency? i dont know but appreciate any possible help

I think your temps are a tad high and RH a bit low causing a too high VPD. You have small leaves and very tight growth. You need lots of airflow over and through that plant.

Slow growth, small leaves etc shows there is an issue, typically with nutrients that can be caused by almost anything but probably most frequently caused by poor watering practices.

Get your environment on point with lots of air movement. You appear to have good lighting.

I'am a first time grower and worried about the yellow tip and spots.
Setup:
300w led running at 50%
Distance to plant is 100cm.
Climate 42% and 24C in a 90x90cm growtent.
Good ventilation with carbonfilter.
No water in two days.
BioBizz all-mix in 11liter Air-Pots.
Northern lights auto.

Raise your humidity to around 75%. Temps are fine.

You have a very high VPD that is driving nutes into the leaf tips and burning them. Hot soil adds to it.

Is there any easy way to raise humidity without buying a humidifier?

Place a wet towel in the tent and blow a breeze over it. Sitting the bottom of the towel in a bucket of warm water will help it wick. That's about it. A humidifier works best of course.

You could also flush the medium with a bit more water but I wouldn't do that. It will help raise humidity and make the soil less hot but that won't be great for later stages of growth.

Is it too late to dome to trap humidity?

As the GingeMinge said. A dome, preferably ventilated, will bring the RH up to around 80%, so a clear top cut off a dring bottle with the lid removed will achieve that. Ventilated it well with a few extra holes and that will give maybe 70 odd %.

The longer you leave the dome on though the taller and lanky she will grow increasing the chance it will just fall over if left on too long.

I made a dome from coke bottle just before i went to work. I hope it will work and doesn't get too hot for my little girl. The wet towel and a fan only raised humidity to 55%.

Perfect. Make sure the plant doesn't touch the sides.
Let's talk about this for a sec. I don't dome so I don't know. Turn the bottle into a sort of chimney by cutting a couple dime-size holes in opposite sides. Will this help with humidity while still allowing air flow?

Yes it will help a bit but what happens very fast is they grow tall and lanky without a breeze pushing on them, so it's a compromise.

Maybe giving the soil a flush would be best but I've never grown with that soil so not sure. The burn doesn't look terribly bad and was hoping as the plant matures over the next couple of weeks it will adjust and then explode.

Yeah, 55% much better than 42% but still not where you want it. That's pretty typical of the wet towel approach.

Many thanks for your advice. I'll keep the dome for a few days and watch carefully what happens. I've also ordered a cheap humidifier which will arrive early next week.
