When will there be...a harvest? (In my Isley Bros. voice lol!) Why today of course! Got to chopping around noon today. 5 1/2 hours later, I was ready to hang! Trimming was VERY tedious (in a good way), but I actually enjoyed watching the buds take form before my eyes! The ladies are now hanging in my tent at 73 degrees with 37% RH. I'm thinking I'll let them hang at least a week. I want to thank everyone who has participated in this journey with me! The things that I've learned are invaluable and I anticipate my future grows to be awesome as a result! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Yes what Nartak said. I elected to specify types as I use both
Nice harvest😝
Happy 4 U🤗

So it's Day 3 of drying. My temp is at 75 and RH is at 35%. The buds feel dry on the outside, almost a little crunchy, but not brittle. I squeezed a few of them and they did not crumble. I think I made a mistake in using a fan for air circulation instead of using my humidifier...I think my humidity is too low. I just turned the fan off and the humidifier on. My question is,,,do I jar them now for fear of overdrying? I read that it's easier to remove moisture than it is to add it back. I'm almost done, but I want to make sure I don't make any more big mistakes.

kingfish So do you mean to say that light leaks don't matter during dark time in vegetative stage? I looked and looked online and I couldn't find a clear response to that question. My understanding was that strict dark period really only matters during flowering...???

During vegging period there is no need to worry about light leaks. I don't even put them in the tent during vegging. Mine just sit on a table under a T5.

I think you're on track. If they feel completely dry on the outside then I'd put them in jars. Like you said, if they're still wet then you can dry them more in the jars, but it's more difficult to put moisture back in. If you think you may have overdried them, or are worried about maintaining the correct humidity in the jars, you might consider ordering some Boveda 62 packs. They are specially made for storing/curing cannabis and will automatically regulate the humidity in the jars for you, which can make curing a lot less stressful!

Also, congrats on a great harvest!

Thank you Nebula. I was thinking about the Bovedas earlier today. When I checked them this morning, they were starting to crumble. So they are now in jars. I think I may wind up with about 3, maybe 3.5 oz when it's all done. Not too bad for 3 plants and my first time.
