First grow journal, first grow. 360 L RDWC+150 Wilma, White Widow

For the plants in the first tent I would remove all the damaged leaves so you can get an idea if the issue is resolved or not. The damaged leaves won’t get better and it appears as though the damage is limited to 5% or less of your total leaf mass.

As as far as cleaning up the lower sections of the plants in the second tent. I would say yes, remove any growth that doesn’t reach to within 1” of the underside of the netting. You have a beautiful canopy above the netting that will fill out nicely so anything under that 1” mark will only drain energy from the tops.

[ Update Two ]

I dont think I have ever been this productive waiting for a train that's late.

So, today I flipped my girls to full spectrum, 12/12 light schedual.
I also changed my reservoir and gave started the Bloom nutrient schedual + some Ultra NK, Bloombooster.

My plants in the Wilma-system looks really healty.
When asking for the optimal grow technique for the available space and number of plants the answers was the same: SoG.
So I will go ahead with an nice SoG.

Is there anyone else using an similar system, reason for my question is that I would like to know how you water.

how often and how long ?

Feel free to ask and comment !

Happy growing guys ! 🤠🍁

I'll Will make some changes in my system when i am done with my ongoing grow. I'll buy One more 3600 L/H pump then. I guess the best thing to do is to get One more Stone in each bucket too.

@Cannabliss
Thanks! That's one of my tent and they are doing really well. Green n' healty.
I have one more ongoing grow, in week 7 flower (previous side of this thread), approximately like your grow. In this growth I have had all kind of minor issues and my buds aren't nearly as big as yours.
I think I have to be patient 😁

@Obi-Wan
That's how I will continue, I'll take away all those leafs who are really staind or burned. Leaves with minimal stains I'll let be.
Beyond removing staind leafs I will also trim some of my fan leafs to make the light penetrate better and shine on the budsites
.
In the second tent I will clean up the growth under the net. I'll take half of it today and half tomorrow to not stress the plants to much.

@Campesino
Thanks for the guide. I will clean up under the netting in tent 2.

I will also remove the sick leafs in tent 1. Beyond removing the sick leafs I will defoliate the plants to get better light penetration.

Sometimes the buds really fatten up after about day 50. So don't think what you see know is what you get. Still figuring out inside grows but every grow my yields get much larger. I have mulitple experimental tents trying new things. I love to test things. Every tent has another theory behind what im doing. Some fail ( had one last grow where i got only 5 ounces total. From 410 actual watts. So was a failure) Another got more than 3 times that. Same number of plants, same wattage, same lights. I get bored easy so I have 5 different setups atm trying all kinds of things. So far this yield looks to be epic. Now im running over 3850 total watts (actual watts used) of lights i dont think ill get close to 3850 grams this grow (wtf would i do with all that) but im slowly getting closer. If i break .6 a watt ill be very happy. Yes i use solar. Cant imagine that bill without the solar.

Next grow trying a tent with natures living super soil concentrate, kind soil, and ffof with their nutrients. Want to see what happens. Havent figured out what im doing in the other 4 tents yet.

Dr.Moggs I've ran into several issues back in previous grows. Some I even had to terminate early due to the plant not worth saving and/or continuing to have issues before even flipping to flower. You never want to flip a plant with serious issues. But you learn a lot while encountering issues and helps you on your next grows. Trust me, it took me plenty of grows (and headaches) to get to where my grow is now. Even now I had a Mag issue early on, but managed to somewhat keep it under control so it wouldn't affect my final yield. So you'll do fine my friend.

Redwasp Haha you've really been pretty busy. I wish I had that much space to grow and test things out in. The one thing I'd like to try at some point is growing weed in soil. I've only been growing in DWC because it's what I've been growing in for years indoors. Started off with leafy greens, herbs, hot peppers, etc. Then gave the cannabis plant a try and completely fell in love with it. BUT I'd like to try soil. Perhaps one day I'll try an auto in soil and see how that goes.

Im lucky. I have time, money, and space to grow alot more. Every grow i seem to add more. Testing what works and what doesnt. Not sure ill ever stop adding more and more. Im retired other than my farms and I have help on those. Its addictive. Even with filters you can smell my house when you walk up, not ideal. But could be just me. I can smell growers while driving down the street. I am starting to run into time restraints. This morning alone went through 40 gallons of water.

@redwasp
Well, that's exactly where I am now and I can see that the buds are growing so I guess your right regarding the 50 day mark.

I use the same lamps in all of my tents and they draw 601 watt when I measure the wattage. (612 according to the manufacturer)
The manufacturer also prommise that the lamps can deliver 2G/drawn watt =1200 G per lamp. I think it would be almoast impossible to get that yield, but 1 G/watt is what I want to be able to get from each grow.

What lights are you using ?
Cannabliss
Thanks for the reassurance !

I'm a bit curious, why did you choose to grow the White widow feminized seeds and not Autos ? I have the same seeds as you have right now but I'm thinking about going with auto next time.

Redwasp You my friend, are extremely lucky. If you were close by, I'd pay you to let me rent a little small corner somewhere haha.

Dr.Moggs The main reason I chose feminized as apposed to autos is because if I make any silly mistake or if my plant runs into any issues, I can continue to veg a bit longer to correct them before I decide to flip her to flower. In autos I can't do that. If I run into issues, she's going to flip whether I want to or not lol. Plus, I can veg longer (if I choose to do so) to have more potential bud sites. I can't do that with an auto. You only have a certain amount of weeks before she flips. That doesn't mean I don't like autos. I'd like to actually try autos some day.

Redwasp well, then 1g is my goal and the day I get that harvest I won't feel like an beginner anymore 👍

Cannabliss Sounds like a good ide, I think my next grow will be with autos in my big RDWC. But the total electricity consumption must be higher with autos since they get like 20 H light every day. On the other hand, they grow faster and in that aspect dont need as much light....
