Finally a New Grow Area

Bromandiggle. Whoever is crossing those things needs to come up with some names. Imagine if we had to refer to our dope by all the breeds that went into it?

The final cross is my own, but Franklin and all his hard work went into the OZ in the OZxSD cross AS long as I know what they are it's All Good GB. I dont market or sell anything...

Hey GB just curious, if you and 2fast can point out what exactly I said that made you both start referring to me as a LEO??

Maybe I do not have enough eye candy posted but then again I dont need..

Never had any shit like this before on here but you have went out the way man...

Egad! changeofpace2014 . My reference to COP weed might have been better spelled CoP weed for ChangeOfPace. I was following your acronym naming convention of 'OZxSDxCCK'. It is your personal strain and I was trying to give you props. It just happened to follow G2F teasing you with military jargon. Total coincidence.
I honestly don't care if someone in here is from any government organization. It's like I tell my paranoid neighbor who keeps warning me about the camera installed on the traffic light that might be watching me through my balcony window: I ain't doin' nuttin' wrong to be worrying who's Johnny Law and if I find videos of myself on some voyeur porn web site (not that I visit voyeur porn web sites), I better get kickbacks.

changeofpace2014 my comment about the pot calling the kettle black.
I play with words and sometimes it only makes sense to me. Figure 'pot' refers to a stoner. A kettle is a type of pot. 'Black' often refers to government affiliation. Through conversation with G2F, I know he did a government contract of some sort.
I still think it's bloody fucking clever and I hope to use it another time. I don't laugh at jokes but I'm still slapping my knee with this one!

Not sure what the deal has been this winter but it has been a real PITA getting them going. I have been using brick coco that requires buffering and ph. Ran into issues around 2nd week and usually that is from lack of buffering. Switched out calmag, and changed coco. I thing I am going to go with bagged coir moving forward. It takes a lot of calmag to buffer and any savings saved with brick coco is lost with all the calmag.

There might be a plan B here and if there was it would include oz x sd and a oz x bj for now we have oz x sd x cck New..also a couple sc x cck x bb Nice and Grollia Lemon Fire x BB fussy. They are all regular seeds and have just been flipped so will see. Plan B would be Feminized if there needed. There is only room for 6.

Tent has been running closed this winter Yeah. The mods done to the intake resolved the excessive heat issue, and maybe the exhaust upgrade to 6" helped as well.

Hey Bluey the cupping we ran into with the oz x sd grow is still around even after adding some cck to the mix. Not sure how happy there going to be when the light starts to come down.. The one oz x sd x cck under the mars light does not appear to be effected like the ones under the cob led.Just an observation.

I used the bag coco. It loved the calmag still. Got that blue tinge on the end of the leaves from a bit much N I fed her to about the flip. From memory I stopped calmag and started PK a bit earlier but I'd have to check the grow logs.

As to the cupping you mention in the next post I'd have to go back and check my grow logs. If I got that badly also I know for a fact it could not have been heat related as temps in flower were 24 early to 22 late flower. I did get a period of 4 or 5 hours where things went wrong and it hit low 30s but quickly fixed. Could have been light related or too much N, can't remember to be honest.

I started dropping the light levels as it's water uptake decreased but I turned them back up as they didn't seem to like the drop in light all that much. I think I finished somewhere around 80 to 90% of Max light, not much of a drop

Finally an update - Winter 2025 has not been a kind winter!! - Roof issues, Grow issues !

Original group was (SD/OZ/CCK) they grew out nicely and trained well but every one was Male! The SCXXX cross was germ twice. They started off really nice then by the second week BAM...started going down hill..First I thought it was a cal mag buffering issue but I buffered all my coco, then I thought it was maybe a coco issue, so I ordered different coco and started over. The issue remains with the SCxxx - Third suspect was maybe the calmag was not up to par because it was old and at the end, so I ordered two 1 GH calmag and 1 sensi grow calmag - O and I ordered some Cannah Coco but have not started using it.

The GLF was messed up and unable to train the way I need it, so it was pulled.

Finally we have 1 SCxxx comming along - (few seeds left) and we started some of the generous donation from F.... We have SDxBJ and SDxOZ.

Sorry Bluey I really wanted to see how that SDxOZxCCK cross would turn out, lots of regular seeds to try again. maybe outside grow just to see..

Usually I grow with regular beans and have never ever had all or most turn male...Math Improbability, perhaps an environmental issue..My RH is in the 40s - low 50s - temps run around 76 -77 when lights are on..Happy with the temps after tent mod. Last winter they temps were in the upper 80s and had to leave door open...

Thinking about some autos for the summer run and wife wants 1 BigAss plant...maybe give her a sdxozxcck after we germ a few and find a female. Better get on with that.

Came across a inter-mitten timer and thought that might be ideal for drying in the tent - One can program it to cycle the exhaust fan on and off. I do not think the exhaust fan needs to run 24 hr when drying in tent but to have it come on every 1/2 hr or so to exchange the air might be ideal.
