I am at day 10 of attempting to clone an indica cutting in a rapid rooter, under a dome, with a CFL for 18/6. There is no sign of roots coming through yet, but the cutting still looks healthy. Should I be concerned?
Have to agree with gbauto on the 2-3 wks ! That's average for mine. Recent clones were clipped on May 27 and became clones on June 18 at 21 days from clipping. I start them and water and walk away and wait ! I use Jiffy Pucs. Found to be easier for me to clone. I also add 4 extra drops of clone gel into the hole before the clipping goes in. Just my experience with clones. They will be dancing before you know it ! Good Growing !!
Yes we started using fox farms Ocean forest in small pots then put them in the greenhouse where it's always humid. We dip in clonex and just push them into the dirt and tamp down. Not as quick as the cloner but saves us tons of time. Takes about 8 to 10 days. The cloner took about the same but got 100% success rate vs 80 or 90% with the new employees.
