  • Hi there,
I had spider mites on my outdoor grow. Spinosad is not available where I live but I read and was also recommended it. I went with what was available to me, Bug B Gone, and it slowed them down. The hydro shop sales person recommended the dunking method you chose which is efficient because many of the products are only effective upon contact. So it sounds like it will work out well for you.

For my outdoor grow I had three plants and the spider mites also attacked one more viciously than the others. I am not sure if it was out of convenience or if there was a chemical attraction to the plant. I also read that higher humidity and lower temperatures also slow down their breeding if that is an option for your setup.
    Good luck!
