alltatup GROW 4: Blk Dom, WW, C99

Jeg I wouldn't call the grow closet high tech: if I had known how to assemble all the components, I could have put it together for way cheaper. But the BCNL RoomMate is high tech, and I really love it. It just hums away in the grow room...

Thanks, DAAS, they are growing like mad again, good recovery from the nute lockout, and yes, I'd like to see them fill the damn box with bud.

what a relief when they start drinking again isn't it . so I tried that app. yesterday I couldn't figure out how to take a picture with it I did manage to save a image somewhere lol. any suggestions . there is no doubt in my mind that those girls are going to fill the room with big fat kola's

OJH, press the italicized i in the upper right-hand corner; that tells you what the functions are, how to freeze an image, take a pic, save it, etc.

Morning Alltatup, I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry about not having lots of big ,beautiful buds with your plants. I bet your students turn out to be very smart productive people having a great teacher like you ,one that actually cares for their wellbeing, back in my school days we didn't have teachers like you, looking at my grandkids homework and lessons I don't think that there is that many good ones that care now. But I might be wrong.

Nah, I think you're right. Most professors seem to take the attitude of "I teach a subject matter, I don't teach students." But we all should know that the ages of 18-24 or so are some of the hardest years in a person's life--that transition out of childhood and the family home into life on your own, etc.--and this is when they need good mentors so much!! So I try to be as holistic of a teacher as I can. So yes, I deeply care about the young humans I teach, rather than academic research interests. So many profs complain about how students waste their precious research time. I say, lock them in their ivory tower and don't let them out.

Besides, my primary research interest right now is cannabis--for real. this is my research passion.

I remember the good teachers I had not the bad heres a chuckle I was in lowes the other day and almost walked into a box of yard sticks and my first thought was yup thats about how many were broken over my hands lol

Starting what I would call around week four since first signs of pre-flowers appeared. The first pic. is of one of C99's leaves from two weeks ago, when the nute lockout occurred, next to one of today's trimmed leaves. She bounced right back. She also smells amazing: I have the feeling that I am really going to like C99. She is putting out lots of triches (tall girl in back).

WW is also doing well, smells fantastic. Can't wait.

One of the Black Dominas (two in front) has lagged behind the other by about a week-10 days and has finally developed buds. So I will definitely be harvesting in stages.

Looks great! Mine are just starting to show . What ppm are you running? I haven't pushed mine still at half strength around 950. Should I go up?

Capncanna my TDS reads around the same with half-strength nutes. I have to admit that I rarely check TDS or know much about it, because I guess I haven't been forced to learn yet. Sirius says for DWC we want 400-1000 ppm, so I guess we are both good. You have inspired me to learn more about this, and to check the ppm in my tap water.

alltatup thanks, while we're on me the subject. As I add nutes my ph drops then comes back up over a week or so. Just started staying the same after I switched to flower. Ph stays around 6 and doesn't budge. Just interesting wonder if the different nutes are making a difference or the defol?

Interjecting here-hope you don't mind-I have found that YES-nutrients in their various mixtures for stages of growth effect pH. Defoliation can stress the plant a bit (done properly) but don't know if effects pH-I rather doubt it.
I know nothing about Bubbleponics but have-HUGE admiration for you that do it,
Best Regards to your grow :)

Anyone ever go to one of those cannabis festivals...like a "cannabis cup"? There are lots of places to meet up these days_virtually the entire west coast, and Nevada and Colorado as well...and of course Alaska where I'm at. If anyone likes to catch fish or hang with the bears then this ain't a bad place....unless its like this "summer" and cold and rainy....starting to get me down. Always good to get out for some sun if I can't get it here!
