Hey everyone,
I’ve got four plants growing RDWC, and one of them is having problems with upper leaves dropping, then turning yellow and getting spots. I’ve tried adjusting nutrients, but I’ve also got three other plants that are doing mostly fine.
This one plant has had problems before...
I’m on week 10 since switching lights to flower (about 7-8 since buds started showing) and I’ve been fighting leaf issues for a few weeks now. I’ve gone through the plant doctor a number of times, tried increasing some nutes thinking it was potassium, I’ve tried decreasing thinking it...
I need some help with defoliating my flowering plant. She's was switched over to flower almost three weeks ago, so I know I'm reaching the end of the time that I should be defoliating. She's really bushy from not enough LST before switching, so I'm afraid of taking off too much or taking leaves...
Good evening my readers, I apologize for the delay, it has been almost three weeks since my last update. I kept meaning to post, but each time I didn't have my phone with me at the time, and lost track of time, especially with the (sometimes) nice weather. Speaking of the nicer weather, I had to...
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've kinda been letting her just take her time growing. Initially I was thinking of letting her grow a few inches taller, but I realized that if she gets too much taller then she may end up too close to the light after the flowering stretch. I've attached photos...
A bit of a late update, I took photos Sunday but forgot to post them. I've taken new photos, she's growing nicely from what I can tell. I'm planning on letting her grow a few inches taller, as well as train her to spread out a bit further. If you notice anything in the photos below, let me know!
I clipped her late Monday night, and took these photos this afternoon after letting her recover a little bit. I unfortunately lost a cola when I was trying to do some light training, it just pulled off 😔. Going to wait a bit longer to go back to LST.
Another Sunday, another Sunday update. She's still growing well, the really old leaves are starting to show some spotting so I've increased the CALiMAGic a little bit. I also realized I accidentally bought the hard water variety of Flora Micro which is probably contributing. I'm going to keep...
Time for a Sunday update! It's been a bit over a week since I trimmed he and she's growing fast! Not much else to this update, since she's growing quick and healthily. As always, photos attached.
It's been a while since I last posted. She stopped getting worse, so it may have been a combination of needing CaliMag, stress, water temperature and light burn. The two branches had grown to 6 nodes, so I trimmed her down to only the third pairs on Friday. So far so good, I just wish I'd...
So, it looks like so far the CALiMAGic isn't helping, it's still spreading. I'm wondering if it's a bit of nutrient burn, so I've replaced the water with 3/4 of the nutrients (halfway between the seedling amount and the vegetative amount) and a bit more CALiMAGic. It looks like the new nodes...
The spotting appears to be getting worse, but is mostly contained to two of the older fan leaves. I picked up some GH CALiMAGic and added a little over a teaspoon (around a half dosage for veg). New photos attached.

I tried using my digital microscope to get a closer look and try to look for bugs, but didn’t spot any. It’s really difficult to use with the magnification level and my hands being naturally shaky, but I got a couple shots.
I decided to swap the water a bit early, some of the old fan leaves are starting to show some spotting. I'm using the same amount of nute, 2.5ml per gallon of the GH trio, with 2ml per gallon of hydroguard, some BioRoot and Mr Fulvic as well, PH to 6.0-6.1. I checked the PH of the previous grow...
I topped her for the first time today because she had six modes, but after trimming I think I topped a bit early. It'll slow her growth down for a while, but she should be fine. Plenty of roots now to provide oxygen and nutrients, that's for sure.
