My outdoor grows look about the same shape as that one and I just finished pruning mine yesterday. I took off the majority of fan leaves and rolled away. I don't know the strains I have outside, they were just randoms that I planted to test my tent

GeorgiaGrower how’s she lookin now? I know ours were about the same and they started beefing up and budding really good

GeorgiaGrower here's a couple shots I took. It will help them grow. Just water really well after. I have to stake the one after I move her

What's going on fellow green thumbers? Here she is today at the beginning of week seven. The strain is Ak Gorilla and it is a cross of Gorilla Glue#4 and Ak Blackberry.I have never before had so many leaves at this stage in the game as I usually do pretty extensive defoliating. This time however,I thought I would be a "tucker" instead of a "plucker"...Funny right...Just me? Anyway, hopefully you can see all the tucking I have going on here.I took these this morning about an hour after watering and she's always a lil' bit droopy afterwards for a couple hours but the big fan leaves stopped standing up about a week or so ago and I am just itching to get in there and take all of them and really open it up for the last couple weeks. However, I'm also worried that doing so would have a significant and negative on her as she's finishing up. So please, let me know what you think. I would appreciate any schooling anyone can give me.My humidity is about 65% and my girl has a constant supply of fresh air and her lady parts are getting blown around by an oscillating fan so mold is not a huge concern for me right now,I just want those leaves gone and I don't know if it's a good idea.Anyone? @PaganRich....care to weigh in?4 Photos

Hey guys I have one more thing. My trichomes are already mostly cloudy at the start of week seven.I can't remember having them cloud up so soon before.Maybe it's a strain thing.I'm not sure.Has anyone else seen this?I'd post a pic of them but it;s pretty tricky to get a good one.Any wisdom someone could put on me would be much, much appreciated,

Hey Nebula! Love the site!! I have one...
Is tissue culture a useful method for the hobby grower to store prized phenos long term? Is this cost effective and how sustainable is this practice?4x4 600w HID empty for summer
3x3 400w HID with Bruce Banner and Skywalker Kush
2x2 65w Quantum Board LED with 4 mother strains
running all simultaneously for a perpetual harvests.

Yes...I read most of the information available out there. I know what it is, I understand how it works, now I was wondering if anyone here has tried it? I assume you can store genetics long term with out the downfall of genetic drift (like mother plants eventually get), has anyone successful stored genetics for a long period of time like this?
The pros and cons list on the link detailed above is short and does not elaborate on cost effectiveness and risk of losing stock genetics.
if I am not planning on making thousands of clones, is this just a waster of time and resources for my hobby grow?4x4 600w HID empty for summer

As you're dealing with thousands of variables.
I found one for $160 something. Yeah, time to grow genetics...time to store them... might be a wash there. It’s a new beast to conquer, sure. I get that.
what type of veriables do you mean? Like controlling temperature, humidity, and filtering the intake air? I think that is accomplishable.
I guess I am really wondering is cost effective to store genetics using this method, are there risks of losing genetics, is it easy to mess up, and if you do mess up are the consequences disastrous or is it easy to recover your prized phenos?Last edited by Toker1; 09-11-2018, 06:52 PM.4x4 600w HID empty for summer

There are many variables with phenos. Also there is more acclimating then just environment https://www.newcannabisventures.com/...nology-part-1/
I believe cost would be dependent on how many you grow since you can make literally thousands of plants. Long term storage on the other hand I've not read into and would think that stasis would last until in-vitro was introduced.
