Don’t give up, I originally wanted to do TFDWC
but after working it out in my environment I would have needed a chiller and AC and the COI was not worth the ROI. Those KW hours add up. I will go LED DIY but for now I have found a grow style that fits my budget and my environment. I wanted to do ebb and flow LOS but for now it’s a 1000 W ballast dimmed to 600 W @ 30” to the canopy, T5’s and hand watering. Being flexible, patient and able to adapt unusual solutions to my grow space has saved me a bundle. Thrift shops, second hand stores, Craig’s list have supplied the majority of my hardware. I am investing most of my money in recycle-able no till living organic soil LOS.Last edited by Paracelsus; 04-18-2018, 04:10 PM.

The clone dome is made to be hot..for clones one needs Jurassic park weather. Germinate seeds old hippie way..paper towel in a zip lock bag or other container. Are you doing soil or hydro? Once seeds " pop" (for soil) get em in soil and get neon on them. I use two 4' shop light fixtures side by side..t-25 plant and aquarium bulbs..1 half inch above canopy for 2.25 Mo. Room is 77 to 81 deg. Girls love it...keep it simple..lot of esoteric stuff here and you can get lost easy. They've moved to flowering now with 2 vipar 450's at 20 in. They love it!! Bottom is 3 gal grow bag with 50/50 black cow..happy frog..good luck ..save the dome for clones..

Oh yea! Gotta cool trick..when I ordered all my stuff, I got a PH meter from "jellas". Came with a seriously lame bag of powder to calibrate...i went to site and there were comments on this..one was... calibrate with vinegar..OK..white and malt vinegar have a PH of 4.2..get a gal jug!! My well is 200 ' deep..PH is always 8.7..WOW!!.. once my 2 gal pump sprayer has 2 gal, I add 1 half cup white vinegar ..comes out to about 6.2. love white vinegar!!

Paracelsus its strange how i came to acquire all the stuff i have someone did me really bad a so called trusted friend and this was his payment to me,he fucked me over big time so i took his shit..i dont promote violence or any of that,i promise though if he would have done what he did to me to some real street guys he would be out of here,so i got a grow situation now and was gone sell because i thought growing was for the pros or required a certain set of skills but now that im in,its really not that bad lol...ill get it as perfect as i need it soon enough and the plant has already reacted to the lights being lowered.didnt even need 2 days...shes standing like statue of liberty lol...one more thing..ive seen people using bubble levelers when adjusting there light to make sure its leveled (obviously) is that necessary ?..i see new leaf coming in and 1 leaf is twice big as the other...do you think that is because i dont have light leveled properly?

No I would say it is the plant growing naturally, ever hear the expression she’s growing like a weed?. Once you have your environment in tact and correct for example water temperature , Air temperature, humidity, feeding schedule, then it is a matter of fine-tuning each individual part of the grow to reach its full potential. Low stress training, pruning, super cropping, none of these techniques are that difficult.

My biggest question is when to you classify the end of seedling and the start of veg . Some have told me as soon as first true leaves spear and other have told me after the 2nd-3rd nodeDWC hydroponics 2.5 gal veg 5 gal bloom / GH flora trio + calimagic, florablend, Koolbloom, rapid start , hydroguard , armor si, diamond nectar, floralicous plus / 600w hps / 48x48x80 grow tent x2 / white widow / special kush #1 / 24/0 12/12. Hopes prayers and a tiny bit of luck.

A Seedling to me is when the seed has just sprouted its first true leaves. By then it has just used all its internal nutrients. As it pops it’s first trues leaves and just begins to be nutrient dependent and shows signs of vegetative growth on the first true leaves from when they first sprouted is the beginning of the Veg stage.

Hello all, I'm just throwing this question out there to see if I can get any type of resolve to my issue. This is my first grow so I'm not exactly sure what to look for, I've read a ton of info. but I'm still not sure. I'm growing a single plant, its a Bubble Gum auto from I Love Growing Marijuana. It sprouted on March 28th, and today is May 3rd. Its a total of 38 days old. Its very healthy, there are at least 15 or so thick branches, it looks like it was topped and filmed,, but it was not. Its about 14 inches in height , and 18 inches wide. I counted 12 tops where I'm assuming the flowers will sprout from. Here's my problem, I thought that I'd have some buds forming already, but none yet. There's a ton of pistils, and calexs too. I'm not doing the 12/12 light because its not needed for autos. I'm leaving the 600 actual watt L.E.D.light on 24 hrs. Can anyone tell me if this is normal for an auto, or is there a way to know if its maybe a photo sensitive plant. What's the longest time an auto will veg. before it starts to flower? I'd really appreciate any help on the matter. Thanks.

A picture is worth a thousand words...
Hang in there. Sometimes it just takes a little more then they take off.

Patience, going to 18/ 6 might give it a jolt or 20/4

hey green leaf i had two autos that I'm just about to harvest today I planted them in sept they were not autos lol usually an auto will start putting out white pistils around dat 21 bud form from the white pistils as long as you have those its ok

Hello everyone. Hoping I can find some informative answers to my question. So here goes. I just recently finished up another grow that resulted in pollination due to hermie traits. I found a ton of bananas and had to harvest 2-3 weeks early. I had to take them out of one room into another.
My questions being how long does pollen stay viable around the house? Is there measures I should take before starting another grow? I'm breaking down the tent and equipment and not going to be using the same tent. How should I clean my fan? Have I spread pollen throughout my house? Should I shampoo my carpet? Or will Lysol or alcohol and water do the trick. I don't want my femenised seeds coming into contact with any pollen. So how long will it stay viable? I've heard water and light degrade the viability as well as hot temps. It's warming up and I have plenty of light throughout my home. Should I just start spraying water and alcohol solution on my walls and floors? Not going to start another grow for a few weeks but habe a plant I haven't sexed yet around 75 ft away in a whole other area and worried about it drifting onto my preflowers. Any suggestions? The true question being how long will pollen stay viable in my home and what should I do to rectify it before I start my fems??https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...-she-s-a-beast

Hey guys !
I have a question regarding bending. I have a SCRoG that is going really well, only problem is that one of the plants have a much longer main stem compared to the others.
my question is, do I dare do Bend it?
FYI I just started week 5 flowering.

Morning Flipprs, if you got room to move your light up, I would tie the tall cola down, and let the others catch up to it.
If you don't have room to move your light up, I would bend it down even with the others, you want an even-flat canopy.
Nice looking plants Dr.Moggs

Morning morning! Thanks for your replays alltatup D.A.A.S.69
Yes there is budsites all over it, but they will adapt to the new lightangle I believe.
I can move the light up a bit, but then it would be pretty far away from the rest. I will bend it down.
The problem is that if I bend this, I believe it will snap of?
Is it really possible to bend the main stem this much and this late in life?Last edited by Dr.Moggs; 06-02-2018, 07:50 AM.

Hey Flipprs, if you scared, don't bend it then, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to.
If it's your first time I'd leave it alone, but it ain't that hard to do.
Maybe someone can give you better help in a minute, I ain't that good with scrogs, but I know you can bend the crap out of mj, if your careful. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

i’ve heard that every strains flowering time is different. With that, if you don’t know or can’t find any information, how do you know when to start your final two week flushing?? The strain I have is wedding cake. Thanks!2 Photos

You start your flush right as your trichrome start to change from clear to cloudy. I could be slightly off about that so take that as an opinion not a fact
-
Agreeing with @DankwingDuck
You should harvest when the trichomes start to become cloudy.
The time of the harvest effects the high you get from the weed.
If you want to know about what is the right time I would recommend you to read this: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest

Cberdahl I agree with what others said. Very important to keep a close eye on triches. This is the absolute best magnifier I have (and I went thru some cheap junky ones first): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I put the recessed side right up to my eye and then I zoom in on the bud I want to inspect.

Cberdahl I looked this up and it’s exactly as I said in the comment to your question.1 PhotoDWC hydroponics 2.5 gal veg 5 gal bloom / GH flora trio + calimagic, florablend, Koolbloom, rapid start , hydroguard , armor si, diamond nectar, floralicous plus / 600w hps / 48x48x80 grow tent x2 / white widow / special kush #1 / 24/0 12/12.
