One of the Jock Horror's has yellowed significantly in the last few days, the fans still have a greenish tint but it's a yellow greenish tint, the other one I have of that strain is still solid green. Both are at Day 41 of flower. The white widow started to yellow off one big fan leaf at a time at this point to but that seems normal.

Is it happening mostly to the leaves closest to the LED, or all over the plant? What's your pH going in and out? Your buds look pretty magical in pics; they have so many trichomes!

The yellowing is happening to the entire plant, I wouldn't describe it as dramatic, but definitely a moderate yellowing of all fans. Honestly I stopped checking pH bc I use RO water, barely any nutes w/ fox farms soil and been running problem free for this recent round. The yellowing Jock is at day 43 of flower and Id estimate 25% of pistils have turned reddish and curled. I noticed in the past when using those screw in LED's as supplimental lighting, that those lights were rough on the fan leaves but I've been keeping them further away and only using them for a few hours a day

thanks Nebula, I think I'm getting close to harvesting this round, Id estimate the window will open in about a week and I don't think the yellowing is spreading too fast towards the sugar leaves, just big fans, the other Jock Horror is still dark green and just as old. I'll let that one run longer I'm thinking. This is my first attempt with real strains, everything before this were bag seeds I used to get experince (and had decent results) so I'm really looking forward to this harvest, and tightening up things for the following cycle. Id be lost without the knowledge on GWE website and forum, ThankYouThankYou!!!

Oh yea, since Im using barely any nutes and because the liquid nutes I use are the GH organic line, I was wondering if there was much point to flushing before harvest? I plan on a mild flush but I wasn't gonna run anywhere near 6 gallons of water thru my 3 gallon smart pots...

If you've been growing with low levels of organic nutrients you probably only need to flush for a few days. I wouldn't put a lot of water through the pot, just don't give them nutrients when you water them until harvest day. Flushing by putting a lot of water through the pot can sometimes increase yellowing.

It is normal for fan leaves to start yellowing near the end. As long as it's not spreading to the sugar leaves you're good! Sounds like you're getting really close to a nice harvest!

Just from those pictures I'd guess you have at least a few weeks left, since most of the pistils are white and sticking straight out. They will all mostly darken and curl in by the time the plant is ready to harvest. But overall your buds look like they're developing nicely and the good news is they're still going to keep fattening up and getting bigger!

Yea, I think I need to leave them be until at least day 60 before I start to consider chopping. Currently around day 45. I'm a little too anxious to get some hanging up Bc my personal supply is low and my avenue for re supply has become increasing less consistent. With everything GWE has taught me thou, after this upcoming harvest, I shouldn't ever have to worry about running out or having to budget in buds ever again!

Quick Question in regards to my vegging girls... As the picture shows, some of the fan leaves have turned a lighter green color in spots. I'm thinking it's from some sort of minor deficiency and/or because the plant might need to be transplanted up a size...???

Have you been checking the pH? That's the most common reason to see nutrient deficiencies. The fact that your tips are yellow make me think it might be a deficiency like possibly copper, but honestly it doesn't really look like any deficiency I've ever seen.

In my experience, if you're worried you might need to transplant, it's probably a good idea. Rootbound plants can display odd symptoms, and bigger rootspace will support a bigger plant Since they're in the vegetative stage, now is a perfect time to transplant! Another thing to consider is sometimes two-tone leaves are genetic. Similar symptoms can also occasionally be from disease, but that's really rare especially if you haven't been in contact with other plants since it can only travel from plant to plant, or by someone handling an infected plant. It doesn't travel through the air or anything.

Is it happening most to the parts of the plant close to the grow light?

Besides the yellowing, overall how does the plant look? It actually looks like it's still pretty healthy as far as I can tell from the picture

I'm thinking the causes may be a combination of things. I had recently transplanted it up about two weeks ago but the increase in size wasn't very significant. I'm kinda out of space until bloom tent space opens up (plan to put in 3 ga smart pot and give a trim then). I tried to offset that by feeding with small amounts of CaMg and BioThrive Grow then subsequently added additional fox farms soil to the pots. So there's that. And also I have been raising the T5 in there but probably not as high and fast as I should have been bc the tent doesn't have a lot of height. There's enough room to keep it further away until they move to the next tent though. All the ones I have vegging are also already about 8 weeks old because I started second round w/ tops from the first. They are all healthy and other then what you see in the last picture, that girl is still very green and hardy! Oh and yea I've still been too lazy to check the pH...I'm too busy staring at the girls in the bloom tent trying to will the tricholmes to cloud in.

Struggling to wait any longer to chop this one, in a perfect world I would wait a week then reevaluate. however, my personal supply is currently non existent and usual avenues towards immediate resolution have grown exceedingly less reliable. That uncertainty is weighing on my decision to harvest as soon as possible and I have my first Jock Horror (Nirvava's) at 54 days of 12/12. I believe overall, it's just achieved 50% red pistils and cracked the harvest window. I took some larf samples a few days ago and w/ just an abbreviated dry gave a try and they were pretty unbelievable given those circumstances. Can't wait to see what a real dry/cure will do for these babies!!! Maybe I'll at least be able to wait long enough for me to receive some advice/input before chopping...

Do you have cloudy trichomes? Don't waste the grow over a week you still have to cure it also
