Is it feasible to put a 5 x 5 tent in a shed w/o AC in the hot summer? I assume the temps would be too high.

That depends on your climate, is the shed in the sun, and how you can use windows, screens, fans, dehumidifiers, and space heaters. I do it in a semi finished second floor of a barn. No AC, tbh there are days that it is needed, but I manage without. The power bill is bad enough with the grow and the AC in the house. Start with a digital hi/low recording thermometer/hygrometer and get some data to decide.Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

Thank you both for your responses. It's in partial shade but in middle TN so can get quite hot. What temp in the shed will be too high? I think with some fans it may be possible. Would using a grow tent in the shed be better or worse? I assume worse, as the tent would hold heat in. I'm trying to keep the tent/ grow out of the house.Last edited by interceptor69; 03-29-2026, 11:06 AM.
