    What to do with stems

Back in the day I would save up all my stems and such, thinking I could make some great butter. But I realized it took a crap load of stems to canna up that butter.
I've often wondered if I could make something like paper out of ground up stems but have never gone through with it. Maybe some sort of rope? I don't mean just the stems you pick from your buds, and I don't mean trim. Just the long stems and branches left over at the end of harvest.

I’ve kinda wondered the same thing. Other than rolling paper, maybe toothpicks. You could get a micro lathe and work away. You’d be the toothpick king of the dopeworld.

My stems are pretty much always hollow. Throwing them on a lathe would... um... I don't know. What happens when you lathe a hollow piece of wood?

You can repurpose long stems for things like hemp-style cordage, compost, or small crafts. Dried stems are sturdy enough for plant stakes, knitting needles, or simple tool handles.

I've always just composted my stems, but I do like the corsage idea, tie your plants down with other plants lmao

I use them to start the wood stove. They light up fast and it gives the neighborhood a good concert vibe.

            Small apartment, no compost.
I like the fire starter idea but have that same small apartment issue. The concert vibe would be a nice respite from the TJ River vibe.
Knitting needles are out because that would require knitting. I mean, I could call them knitting needles but never actually knit with them. Maybe mount them on my wall like people do with guns they never use.

That's kinda funny actually, I have an over/ under that I bought about 5 years ago that I've never fired

Funny, I kept these from 3 years ago, never put in stove. Just because I could.

BECAUSE I COULD! This experiment was inspired by BCOutdoorBudz who posted in my thread https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...-cup-challenge (https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/growing-community/463125-the-solo-cup-challenge) , post #9. There were leftover clones this year that no one wanted and I didn't have the heart to

A bunch of those would make a cool 'cursed forest' scene with grotesque spiders and monkey monsters.

Weed is poison to dogs so be careful, I dont think there is anything in the stems that will hurt them but its not worth the risk to me.
I also read that avocados are poison to dogs but my ex father in-law had a avocado tree in the area where he kept the horse and the horse stripped the fruit, leaves and bark every year and died of old age.

I have seen dogs after getting into cookies, bit scary when they keep falling over and trying to get back up. Have seen no affect from eating raw stem though, don't think it would contain any pyshco active substance...
I know a old bloke who every night would sit down with his cattle dog beside him, pour a beer in the dogs bowl, and ash a ciggy in aswell and they'd both sit there and have a beer and a ciggy together. Dog looked old to me, probably prematurely aged though ha.
