    Flowering Dilemma

hi ppl., here's a q. i'm getting different info on. Will an ordinary streetlight 40 ft. away from my plants cause a prob. come flower time? should i use a box or a bag to block them or even start early flower to avoid bud rot? thanks for any help

I think with the streetlight that close you will need to block it from your plants as much as possible. It's the spectrum that's the problem. I'm assuming you're not growing autos?

no this is my first attempt at reg.'s, i have some g2f autos going for backup. i have a pellet gun but think my 92 y.o. neighbors need that light or i'd get rid of it

40 feet? Are you basically underneath them?
I've had friends grow in their backyards with streetlights in the neighborhood. But not 40 feet close.

Better to safe than sorry I reckon... Shoot that f*$#er down. Ive heard of ppl throwing a blanket over them at night but I imagine that wouldn't be as easy as it sounds and I'd be worried about snapping a head off.

yeah, you know going out in the pouring rain and covering them is gonna suck. i could move them to the back of the house but there only a cpl. hours a day sun back there

Ya that sounds close to the plants, 2 hours of sun is not enough
you could build some sort of “frame” around your plants to support your light dep blanket. Even a few big stakes info the ground might make it easier on the plants at least.
getting out there all the time to cover them does sound like a chore.

I have street lights in front of my house and I haven't had a problem yet, but I grow behind the house,I think it would be different if you start the plants indoors and then put them out side

Can you put them behind the house at night and then put them back in the sun in the morning
