What are the best seed banks?

I was curious what cannabis seed banks you all use and recommend? Are there any seed banks that need to be avoided?

I've tried a few so far and had pretty good results, but I was wondering if there was a "best" seedbank that everyone agrees on?

Royal Queen, North Atlantic, and Seedsman are all good choices.

I've actually had great luck with North Atlantic and Seedsman as seed vendors, too. I also grow a Royal Queen seed with good results (though I got the seed from Seedsman as opposed to directly). It was an auto that stayed on the smaller side, but produced great weed.

      Thanks for sharing your experience!

North Atlantic all day. I’ll also order straight from the breeder when possible.

North Atlantic Seed Company, Multiverse Beans, ILGM, Seedsman, Ace Seeds, Royal Queen Seeds. I use NASC the most. They sell Ace seeds. I like their genetics.

Seedsman over charged the hell out of me without my authorization and really didn't care or refund what they stole and yes after 7 years I am still bitter as hell.

Oh and Seedsman repackage everything and sell strains and Qty's the breeder never offered. When I contacted the breeder about it they would never say a hard no, I assume out of professional curtesy but they said the seeds came from them either

Currently Having $160 worth of issues with Rocket Seeds. That is not saying the issue is with any of the seed banks they use but with them.

ordered 8 seeds from i49 seeds, none popped and someone there used my c.c. to place $500 worth of bets on a gambling site. their response was " we hope everything works out". i hate being taken advantage of

UP Date - These guys eventually shipped my order - They did not answer any e-mail and all phone calls were disconnected after a loop or two of there pre played message. All the signs of being scammed. They just have pitiful C.S.. Not sure if they are a Canada seed bank if so probably have covid hang over the whole country does. IMO

Teenty20 have fresh seeds, they are hard to pop open. Long soak time or a cracker is needed.

Interesting. Learn something everyday I guess, I've never heard of a seed cracker. The google machine turned up some pics. Now I know. I may end up trying one out, or making one, which would be even better.

Not game to give the seeds a little scuff up before soaking them?

Crop King seeds is a security risk. They called me after discovering “unusual activity” on my account. Yep…they were hacked and I had to shutdown all my banking accounts to deal with it. Only thing i got from them was a “Sorry for the inconvenience” at the end of the phone call.
There are 3 things you must check everyday when growing in hydro:
      1) Water level (How much h2o is she drinking in 24hrs)
      2) pH level (change over 24hrs)
      3) ppm/EC level (How much food is she eating in 24hrs)

I am a big fan or NASC, I have been there a few times and they are great people that really grow. If you buy from them they dont repackage the seeds so they are stil lin the origonal breeders package. Most of the other seed banks repackage so you have no idea what your getting or worse they start thier own line of seeds from strains of the same or similar names (Seedbank Sucks)
NASC has started their own line of seeds under the name Dirty Bird Genetics. I have not tried those yet, but I am betting they are well worth the effort.
They are about 80 miles from me and I have bought clones from them a few times, with great luck but they dont ship them unfortunatly
I bought seeds from breeders overseas for a decade and never agian

I met them at an event and they gifted me a tester of dirty birds, it was good stuff for sure. I think nasc just started offering dirty birds for their typical freebies.

Thx for sharing that about NASC. Love and prefer me some local businesses even if it costs a bit more. Hearing they don't repackage makes me like them even more. With all of the different seed suppliers and cultivars out there it can get a little overwhelming. I like Ace seeds and their genetics. But they don't sell directly to the USA. NASC has a good selection.

I have always found them to be the same price or cheaper than other seed banks and they wont ship from them to some customs agent

Has anyone purchased from Great Lakes Genetics? Looks like they have quality seed producers they sell for including twenty20 I see you guys are using ATM. Also their shipping policy seems to me like they might ship down under. 🤔

Hard to get seeds down there Wayzee? Just wondering. A while back I tried to send some seeds to AUS disguised in something but I think they were confiscated cause they never arrived.

There's a few seed dealers here but the range is small from the one I been using, think they stock about 15 different strains, and the other big one here mediseedsman I have heard ppl having dissatisfied results. I'm really interested in fast autos and plants like those freaks or duckfeet, for their stealth and or quick turnaround, be perfect for a backyard grow when our season comes around again..

SeedSupreme.com. Can't vouge for them, but my next purchase will be from them. Seems legit. My current grow log the seeds are from ILGM...

Avoid the Spanish seed sellers. Also the Australian seed sellers appear to be using a lot of the Spanish crap. You just end up with what you end up with if you end up with anything at all. Nothing is ever as per the label.

For the Canadians in the group a couple of the legal suppliers have upped their game since legalization.
34th Street seeds have been really good for me, got some nice versions of some of the classics, and there’s Auto flower Breeders Club for autos. Depending on availability in your province you might find a few choices. Some of the big players are slowly starting to sell here too, I’ve seen Dutch passions as well as Humbolt seed company for sale in Ontario.

….And if you really want to get an education on the history of the strains we get today check out the specialist cannabis landrace site
The Real Seed Company, some interesting reading in their blog section.
Also their sister site Kwik Seeds

I'll check out the Kwik site. The Real Seed Company is very interesting. I'm interested in landrace strains. Someone pointed out that growing outside of it's area of origin would negate the landrace aspect simply because the conditions would be different. I think I understand that but it doesn't really matter to me. All of these new 'strains' are like names for paint colors but I guess that's what seed breeders do, ha.
