    Paint mixers for bubble bags

This is what I'm using in my 5-gallon bubble bags for bud dekiefing. Used it once and it seems to do the trick. What other styles do y'all use? Branding iron is not a valid answer.
And what sort of consistency do you look for in your biomass after paint mixering it your personal favorite number of times? Or do you just go until the trichomes stop coming? In my one time going big, I was confident I had gotten what would be worth working for but still had (I think) decent size buds maybe 1/2".

This is the one I use. I like dry, crumbly consistency in my bubble hash but I usually end up with the sticky, mushy stuff. I think that's from running the drill to fast and hard. I'm constantly telling myself to slow down but a few seconds later my mind wanders and I'm squeezing down on the trigger again. I've read elsewhere it's best to put the drill away and mix by hand only, but damn that's a lot of work for an old man. One idea I had was to have a hash party. Get as many people together as you can and everyone takes turns stirring, just have to have plenty of smoke on hand to keep everyone motivated. Also want to try dry sifting. I only make hash once or twice a year so experimenting takes a while. And I just keep going till they stop coming but the first run is always the best

That's something to consider. Cranking the Milwaukee up to 11 and paint mixering the hell out of the bud versus gentle agitation like a washing machine or dry sift. But I'm not so worried about final consistency because I melt it in alcohol to make resin.
When I bought bubble hash in my weed and hash smoking days (college,) it always came in little tar balls that stuck to everything like tar, smelled like tar when burned, and bubbled like tar. I knew the guy who grew the flower and made the tar so I'm pretty sure it was legit. Never did like working with it.

Yes mix by hand as gently as possible. Ya it’s a lot of work that’s why people who can go with the machine.

I started with a paint mixer but it’s just too rough and creates contaminates by smashing up the material

I'm ghetto. Piece here, piece there. I can't afford the machines and equipment, nor do I have a reasonable space for storage. I am zero concerned at the quality of trichomes except for potency since my hash winds up as resin, looking nothing like trichomes. Figure RSO made from 220 hash.
Still not signing up for YouTube. But y'all hashers have shown and talked enough about Cannoli I know he's the master hashashin.

Even if you end up with a different product as you do he explains every single step and why. This will help with whatever you are doing I would think.

It's simple to follow and you don't need to buy any of his equipment to get the same result, it's only if you want to support him. His washing machine can be replicated in a bucket and he explains everything about how it works and why, how to load it and why, what to listen for and why, even explains what exactly it is doing, color of water and shows rotation speed and direction etc...

Everything is there from start to finish, he hides nothing, he doesn't try and get your to pay for anything, what he sells would likely make it a bit simpler and easier for some to reproduce.

And the end product arguably cannot be beaten

You can certainly do it getto, I started with a 50$ set of bags, a bucket and a wooden spoon. It still works
If you don’t have youtube there is a section on his website that is all written articles. If your interested read the 5-6 part series from the Weed World Magazine, it is a pretty good summery of the how and why.

Well, hell! I guess there is non-age verifiable information to read since half an hour has gone by since going back to FC's page, and I'm about to go back after the morning dab.
Thanks for making me relook at Bluey 's link, Smallgrow
