Once my beard stopped growing, I had to find a new hobby. That's why I turned to growing weed. When I saw pictures of the ginger hairs and the ginger trichomes marijuana flowers had, growing marijuana flowers became my surrogate beard.
      C'mon, mule!

Hormone Replacement Therapy can have that effect on beards.

HRT is why my beard is immaturing. Instead of milky before ginger, my beard is turning from ginger to milk.

I bought this one a while ago and never did like how it smoked, only used it twice, think it would be a nice addition to the aquarium Click image for larger version

When I was single I had infinite hobbies. Now the snowmobile is parked along with other toys. I've always been able to get deep deals on things so it enabled me to accumulate fun things over time. Now with a kid and getting older ...well I may at least sell the motorcycle. I have an 81 Honda project cafe racer that been sitting and I finally slowed down riding my Hayabusa motorcycle. I still buy guns anytime I can but we all never get together to shoot anymore. Still fun to collect them. I kayak fish on lake Erie and like deer hunting but mainly just to sit in the woods. Our camping group seemed to end over the last few years. We had about 15 guys that met and primitive camped for a few days in the forest. Was a great time. No flashlight night hikes, cold river for water. Man the good old days. Lifes great every day even though some days suck. That my speech.

                  Thanks Bowhunterwoody - Very kind!
All sorts of creative options with them - I'd drag these into Photoshop & bash them up with other elements. And I'd take out all the color, print that & color them using colored pencils.

WolfMansBrother That is way cool. Just curious, do these pieces have a specific thought behind them? That mushroom is gorgeous. I like your kind of art.

golfnrl - Thank you! The shapes are a product of the formulas chosen. Those have their own vibes. I am attracted to some more than others. After that, it's applying the traditional attributes of visual art - lighting, color, composition. I can add a lot of atmosphere. I was hugely influenced by 70's graphics artists -Heavy Metal magazine - Jean Giraud & that crew, Frazetta, Roger Dean, etc. Lots of homage to those styles.

I had a few tanks over the years. I mainly had cichlids but always others in there. Raised a large mouth bass a year once. Was cool. Put him back in the same pond when he was bigger. Did a nice hexagon beta tank also. I think it was a 10 gallon but taller than wider. He had a great time swimming all around. It seemed like he got excited when I would sit and watch him but he probably expected food. My brother always had a 100 or so gallon salt water. Was cool watching them as well. That was my pre weed chilling times. Was just relaxing watching them go all over the tank.

I chuckled at the LM bass reference. I threw a fingerling into my 55 gallon tank. He immediately became king and before I knew it had eaten a few of the other fish. It was kind of funny. He didn't last long.

LOL I too put LM bass in my tank, a pair the same size, got one morning to find only with a tail sticking out of its mouth. It had also nearly doubled in size, back to the creek it came from.

I can't wait to get the aquarium set up for fish, ordered some. Fake plants too,I'm thinking about how I'm going to incorporate the aquarium and the grow, my mind is going nuts right now

Earlier in life I used to hunt a little, rabbit and deer mostly, and I used to fish. I liked fishing for crappie, LM bass, sunfish with ultralight tackle, and catfish. I liked cat fishing at night from the bank and did that a lot. I used to play golf a lot. And I've had a few firearms over the years. I was an FFL for a while just because the man didn't like it. I sold pistols for $20 over cost. I couldn't compete on long guns though. I gave up the FFL when the feds upped the fees. Then I had a career change and didn't have time for hobbies. That was a mistake. I used to raise African cichlids. They are fresh water mouth brooders only found in lake Malawi and Tanginika. They can change colors, and are very territorial but a lot of fun to watch. They are easy to take care of. Even though they are territorial you can pack a lot of them into a small space, as that is their natural environment. Unfortunately, life circumstances caused me to give it up. I could see me with another one though, 'just chillin' watchin' the fish after a good smoke. Now, after a career or, slaving job just to get your pay, we'll see what happens. Growing weed became my hobby, but golf is now on the radar as well.
