First Time Grower with 2 problems - All Advice Appreciated

    Hi Everyone!
My name’s Martin and I’m new to the group, growing, and gardening in general. Thankfully, I was told about the site when I picked up my first clones this summer, and with the help of the articles/resources/tutorials/etc.., I made it through the vegetative stage with no issues (some may even say I Crushed it).
But then…… I lost the sauce during the pre-flowering stage defoliation tutorial 2 weeks ago (even though you warned me not to), and now I’m coming to the forum for advice on how to move forward with my grow. All the details are with the pictures below! Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
WAIT… it gets better: My friend and I both got our clones at the same time and as you’ll see in the pictures, she chose a different route for guidance during her grow (I tried ya’ll).
They came home with me this weekend so as soon as I got them in the door, I trimmed all that I could without making the baby buds fall off. Now I’m at a loss at what to do with them. Not sure how long they’ve been flowering but her best guess was 4 – 6 weeks. Does anyone know how to increase the yield at this point, or is it just a water and wait kind of thing?

Good luck, they may not recover from being stripped naked.

          You don't have enough light.

..... nor do you have enough leaves...Ditto re light.

And your scissors have been abused.

Poor plants....they will likely make it but I'd be opening an account with the local dispensary because I don't think you'll get much bud from them any more.

Looks like a meter I have, if so the 40 is humidity and the temp is below (77).

            #9
Bluey, Sixwinds is correct. That’s the humidity up top and temp below. kingfish, there are more lights than the ones you saw in my original pictures. Didn’t realize so had zoomed in so much. The ones you saw were just added at the beginning of flowering to help with their red wavelength.

I originally started in a tent, but as things developed I ran out of room so I converted the closet to my growing space. After adding a tarp on the wall to control light and temperature better, things were going great….. Until I messed up lol.

I definitely misinterpreted the article and thought I was supposed to cut the majority of the leaves at the bottom right before switching to flowering to allow for air flow and to encourage my plants to focus on growth near the top - where buds would be more likely to have access to light. The first picture below is where I cut most of the leaves…. I thought I was only supposed to leave a few towards the top to take in the light so……. Yeah. my bad!

I’ve included some other pics of the journey just to show I’m not a complete fucktard. Fingers crossed I’ll end up with something when it’s all said and done and Lesson learned for my next attempt.

            Thanks you guys.

              Let's see what happens 🤞

As was mentioned you need better light overall. Veg pics look good. For veg high PPFD isn't as important is it is in flower so you can usually get away with sub par lighting hence why you did well in veg.

Sounds like you were trying to lollipop your plants. What you did could be called schwazzing. It's a technique where you strip the plants of almost all the leaves which redirects the plants energy to the flowers. It's a bit controversial but I've seen it done successfully. If the plants were healthy prior to your defol they should bounce back although you may have stunted them and it may take a second for them to get back into it.

Looks like you have a tent for vegging and a closet for flower?
