I got a slight smell of weed this early morning otherwise nothing outdoors is being scented do to wildfire smoke. This is my second summer to grow in town it's abit of a anxious time now that they are flowering but i'm really protected and have decent neighbors. When these plants were immature youngins i had a police officer pay me a visit cause i had a brush pile burning and he said a neighbor complained said it was " garbage burn" he came into the back looked quickly at my fire ring and said " no issue" i nearly had a case of poopie pants after.

Growing along nicely. That is how it smells when driving around here. Either a grow patch, or a bong a thong.

I try to let them go as long as I can, but when they start growing less because of the worms, it's time to chop!

Good morning outdoor growers it's cloudy/overcast and smokey. The specks you see on the bud shots are not thrips/bugs but ash from fires, it's falling all over our town. I've been shaking the branches seems to help. I'm not going to do " bud wash " it's not like real thick it's just annoying to me like dust in the house . Anyhow we are a good 3wks in on the flowering fed them Tiger Bloom this a.m. which i'm gonna run out of within the next 2 feedings then it's molasses only in the water. I have purchased Dyna Grow an Bloom for the next indoor run i like that much more than other one. The MJ like the cooler temps as all my plants do it's given them a boost.
Suppose to get some rain starting tomorrow i hope. I can place 2 smaller plants inside the greenhouse and place the others under the patio if needed. I don't mind if they get just sprinkles but sure as heck don't want showers for hours on them. I hate mold more than bud worms. Which i've seen neither as of yet. Got some really pretty colored zinnias this year and my dahliahs are doing great they love the fall.

I just read that the US tennis open in NY the courts and surrounding arenas " smell like Snoop Dogs living room " LOL what a hoot gotta love it. Skunky Funky.

Hey those look good to me Rwise. I think i'd take bud worms over mold any day, rather have neither but it's our curse for growing outdoors. I've not had any sign of worms yet on my small buds but i know some will show up as the buds plump up. We have rain in the forcast tommorrow not sure how much we'll get if anything.

This girl has set on nicely, but due to bud worms it is time for a chop! This is my own cross tween Greasy Grapes X Wet Teddy Bear (another of my crosses). The other girl in this bed is the same and just taking her time.

Plants are doing ok. Rather pale green, gave them a boost of N. I've finally found a steady stream of sunlight for them..half the day in my driveway, then haul them to the back till dark. Not ideal but its working.

Thanks guys. The pots are 5 gal fabric. I put up a shade so at 1pm they are in the shade.

If your roots are getting too hot because of small black pots try some ice packs on the soil

We have upper 90s this week, relief from the 100-110 we have been having.

If growing in soil John don't water to runoff. The runoff contains the nitrates that keep your plant growing and nicely green.

    Hello my friends,
had a brief relief from the heat last week but next four days to be in the upper 90's. Getting yellowing on the lower water leaves. Not exactly sure why. I fed them today, ff trio, tested the runoff, ph 6.3 ppm 1001. Hopefully it's just normal old age, lol.
    any thoughts?

I sure am pulling for you and the rest of the outdoor growers in the East. Terrible storms and Canada man that's just burning up the wilderness it's so sad. We're battling awful smokey days here and dry. We had lightning strikes again with more small fires now joining eachother. Horrible and school kids here in my area don't have air conditioning ( we never did either ) and they can't play outdoors. All around smells like campfires. We are praying for rain
