Been contemplating this for a few days, so I'm just gonna go ahead and put this in a topic over here.
No offense to Gingerbeard. I just do not wish to crowd the community forum of his. But I will still be there.
Though i will frequent over there, the plan is to make more detailed updates here. Resulting in this becoming somewhat of a journal. It's something I've never done before. Let's see how this works. Wish me luck!
Starting off, for those of you just joining us...

For those who are, or will be doing the so generously provided Scarlet family...
This is where you'll find what I got for ya about the Scarlet Grapes. Produced and provided by Going2fast. Here's some information from the man himself:

Though I can't seem to find the actual breeding process. It's probabuly just mixed in with many of his other topics. π
Lineage:
Scarlet Sunset(Gas Reaper)ΓDouble Grape(Mephisto)
Catching up with 8 Scarlet Grape seeds...
Soaked in paper towel - 1/25
All have tails-ish and put into soil - 1/28
8 girls in the light(some sooner than others) - 1/31
Gonna call February 1st DAY 1
Quick recap of the last 17 days...
After the domes were removed they seemed to take off. The ladies are thriving. They were being fed about one cup of plain pH'd water daily around mostly the base. With a couple heavier waterings on the outer perimeter to keep the lower soils moist. On the 9th they were watered heavy with a BTI tea and light Mykos dose. Two days ago I started feeding two cups of plain water daily. Tbh, a couple of the watering inputs were way outta range. Once I watered with 5.8 and once with 7.5, meh. My watering practices are under evaluation, lol.
I've also started some tough love early with these girls because they are happy and appear quite strong at a young age. This has led me to begin numbering them. It will help us all later. All of these girls will get the LST and be pointed right back at the light within hours. Plant number 4 is already showing sex at day 17! The soonest ever for me. Very impressive actually.
Fast forward to now...
DAY 18
Though the leaves started small and mutated as most autoflowers do, pushing single, two, three, and four fingers; most have achieved seven finger fans by node four.
The plants are numbered in order of assumed maturity aswell as their training order. As of today plants 1, 3, 5, & 6 are also showing some wispy white lady parts.
All my water comes in cold at 120ppm or less and is left to off-gas aswell as reach room temperature. This time of year it can have a pH as high as 8.5. All pH adjustments are made organically. Today they were given a generous amount of water with a small amount of molasses. I've been slightly concerned about the bio activity of my lower soils mixture.
The light intensity has been at 80% for about ten days and the distance has stayed at 28 - 30" from the top of canopy with some heavy training. The temps have been low to mid 70's and my pathetic RH is generally 33% +/- 5. The average leaf temp is 71.5Β° F. For those of you doing the whole VPD thing, yeah, way outta range. Meh, I dont even try. I do with what I got and make it work!
Up until now, I have been training two at a time one day apart. Today I actually did LST on three and decided to go ahead and top the remaining plant # 8 just above the fourth node. Number eight appeared to be the youngest, but perhaps strongest and most vertical specimen. All the others are either at or showing the sixth node. I know I know...topping autos debate...let's hear the backlash!
This is where we are and what we got for now. Yes, I can be somewhat long winded on occasion. And yes, I might have bit off more than I can chew. We're all thinking it! Lol.

For the TL;DR crowd - Eight healthy Scarlet Grapes. Day 18.
Pictures and updates will follow.
