I hate that Amazon, FedEx, and UPS. Just park in the middle of the fucking street. I run service for a real estate company. I have to find parking and walk to the job with my tool bag, parts, ect.

Fucking AMERIGAS. Not only do they let me run out of propane for the 10th time in as many years..and I'm on auto refill service. But I have an app....that they made...that shows me how much propane I have... Because it phones home every day...and they can see this ...and I called and gave them a heads up that I'm less than 7%...THEY STILL LET ME RUN OUT AND THEN TELL ME I HAVE TO TAKE A DAY OFF WORK SO THEY CAN CHECK FOR LEAKS....AND THEN DON'T SHOW UP ON SAID DAY AND GIVE ME A TEXT AT 530 IN THE AFTERNOON SAYING OOPS CANT MAKE IT TODAY...ENJOY FREEZING AND WE WILL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW.
FUCK THEM AND THERE FUCKING CALL CENTER IN INDIA CUZ THEY GOT RID OF ALL THEIR REGONAL OFFICES..............

Do you own the tank? If so can you get someone else to fill it? I still have a 500 gallon tank from when I last had propane for heat/cooking, here we have a number of providers to choose from.

I had to put socks on with my sandals and hoodie over my jacket this morning when I took Dabber out because it was all the way down to 49°. Made it down to 67° in my apartment overnight. Brr, man! I totally feel your lack of heat pain. Totally. That global warming shit is a real ball-buster.
That is a sort of reason I don't do auto re-whatevers. Does Amerigas have competition?

Plenty of competition. Problem is they want to charge me to remove tanks that I have been renting for 30 years. Mind you they are not my company of choice. They bought out the company that bought out the company that I had. And it's totally true. There is nowhere in America that you can go into and Amerigas office and complain about your service. City people like me pay money to vacation in rurality such as yours. That is why I tease. Hiccups and inconveniences, sure. But you have trees out your windows without even trying! I have traffic and loud street people.
Spent a winter 2 weeks with a cousin who lived on 10 acres in New Mexico. The place was built buy a survivalist for Y2K. While I was there the water either froze or the well dried up. Not really sure. Wound up hand pumping from one of 5 5,000 water tanks buried on the property. Had to filter all of it and boil for drinking. All heat was provided by a single wood stove. Spent much of the days with a chainsaw and wood splitter because my cousin was unable to realize how much firewood she would need. Luckily, she lived in trees.
Working to keep up with life like that is dreamy, baby. Just dreamy. If I wasn't embarrassed about where I live, I would propose a house swap during the winter months.

I also supplemented the propane with wood heat, (I would also gather coal from the railroad tracks, really kicked the heat up but one did not want to put to much coal in a wood stove) I was younger then and cut that myself, not going to happen these days. And our gov wants wood banned, along with propane and natural gas. But is that coal fired plant cleaner than my gas heat, I dont think so?! I just paid the highest natural gas heating bill I have ever had, almost half of the bill is a charge for reading the damn meter via radio, but at least I get to stay warm, have hot water to bath in even if the lights go out.

Buying a modem will run $50, maybe. Do some shopping and $20 will do the trick.
Cox will happily let you use one of theirs for free! The caveat is you have to sign a new two-year contract and at the end of the two years you pay $15 a month (current rates.) I had to ask about that. All they tell you is what is free. Not how much you will wind up paying or that you will be re-contracted. Nothing, in the end, is free. They've done this every time I have talked to them. There is a chance I will not be here in two years and will not get hooked into another contract.
Time for math. For a year, that Cox cable modem will rent at $180. I've been a customer for nigh on 12 years, now. Had I originally opted to rent one of their units, I would have wound up paying $1800 before having to get a new one.
Cox cable is why people hate corporate America.

Sounds like the Real Issue would be with Smell....One more piece of equipment required for Jessica Fletcher moving in next door....Ozone Generator with your carbon filter should do the trick.....Good Luck might turn out they will smoke more of your weed then you do.....

Both are concerns CoP.
Anyone walking within 20 feet of my open front door during flowering will smell weed. Current neighbors don't care. The last thing I want is a new neighbor complaining to C-word about smelling weed and lying that they're getting a contact high. I was thinking about an ozone filter, but my tent is too small to keep it unless I only grow three plants. I've tried a carbon filter. My limited space limits solutions and the effectiveness of limited solutions. My tent is open when the light is on, and usually when it is off which pretty much negates air changes.
Mooches are an issue. My friends know me and are respectful enough not to ask me to dab them out. I share what I can except with those who never seem to remunerate in kindness. At least in kindness.
In the end I will either have to stop growing or keep my place closed up and feed money into my FAU. I hate my FAU. I live in San Diego, damnit! Shorts when it's hot. Jacket when it's cold. Conditioned air makes my beard shimmy.

I agree Carbon Filter would be useless with tent open, best bet is ozone generator in the room you have the tent in.. Might have to mess around and get it dialed and it would be very quite compared to a exhaust fan running.

You could always just introduce yourself and indulgence and see how it goes...Our neighbor smokes a Lot of Weed and loves to grow that smelly s... outback, I dont mind but prefer some discretion.
