I hate loosing my furry friends, 2 days ago we were having hot wings and of course my dogs want the bones. The little girl usually wont eat them, however this time she did, well part of 1. She suddenly wanted to go outside, not like her to leave food behind. So I watched her and she went and dropped a load, nothing out of the norm there. Then she started trowing up white foam, looked like shaving cream or whipped cream, this was followed by clear liquid and labored breathing. Call my oldest girl, she has 4 wheel drive, and off to the emergency. Get her there, breathing is normal, just like when you take the car in to the mechanic. They check her out and send her home, surprise no charge.
Next morning I am watching her close, she gets a drink if water, still not eating, walks across the room and falls over, I pick her up and call my daughter, she has to go in. Not many are even open with the weather. My girl gets her vet to look at her, left her there for observation, they do one of those scope things, call and say it will be surgery. She came through surgery fine, but she has an inoperable tumor, and at most 3 months to live. They did what they could so she can eat slurries, no more real food and no more bones. Scuse me while I go dry my eyes,
