golfnrl I was the 'Juke Box Lady' for about 7 years as part of my job. I hated having to order 45's for country bars because I didn't care for the music. Then the 'new' country singers emerged and I found a liking for traditional country. When I started that job crossover songs and artists were becoming popular: Dolly & Kenny Rogers, Linda Ronstadt (Blue Bayou), etc. The favorite title I ever read on the weekly Top 100 Country chart: "You're the Reason our Kids are Ugly".
