Thanks all for the kind words! Your support makes it all happen and makes roadblocks run smoother.
We made hash out of this harvest this week end and my oh my, looks like I'll be making more soon!
Half a pound, did you kick yourself for pulling early?
I got that from two autos in 60 or 63 days last year, can't remember which one it was. Still surprised at how that grow turned out for my first one considering I didn't accurately measure temps, didn't check RH or use any bloom boosters.
Nebula, are you referring to the Auto Sour Diesel that you wrote up a grow with Critical Jack? That got me wanting to do those after this AK Auto is done in a few weeks.
Once the humidity gets down to closer to 60%, the buds will start curing faster. It's possible in those big jars at 66% RH they were too wet to really get the full effects of curing, since there needs to be a certain amount of air for the process to happen. Curing them at a slightly lower humidity in smaller jars should help increase the smell and perceived potency, while making the buds smoother and hopefully taking away some of the edge!
Congratulation on a really great and bountiful harvest!
IMO it only matters if the veg period matches the size of the pot. Growing a plant for 2 weeks in veg in 15gallons is a waste of soil and nutes. Growing for 3 months in veg in 1gal is a crappy harvest guaranteed. In other words the canopy size will match the root system size. Pots can be a restriction on growth.
2 Sour Diesel and one big dirty, all vegged 3+ months. Smaller pots were vegged half that time.
