SOIL Does ph adjuster kill microbial action in super soils.

When using an all organic super soil I was told not to use a ph adjuster such as gen hydro ph up or down when watering, but to use bottled or spring water that is with in the proper ph range.
The reason being that the ph adjuster will kill all microbial action
Can anyone verify this for me please.
    thanks

Someone will know more on the subject than I but I would think that the reactivity of the ph adjuster would be diminished once it has reacted with the water to adjust the ph. However, there may be some residuals present I'm not aware of. Interesting subject. But then I'm high so....

I would think if it's safe for hydro and coco, it shouldn't be a problem in super soil. I'm no expert but there's my opinion.

I keep hearing it both ways imo I wouldn't use it anyway because the soil will take care of your ph as long as it is not crazy off. I use a carbon filter to remove chlorine from my tap water then water with it, and my tap water ph is between 7.3 n 7.6 with 250-280 ppm tds without a problem. But here's the GWE article on ph and living soil

If your soil is in proper tick there should be no reason to adjust PH. If you're not using any petrochemical nutrients the natural bacteria and enzymes should be keeping a proper PH balance.

Hey Carlie I buy this stuff and I sprinkle a little bit on each one just to replenish the life in my soil probably 3 or 4 times during a grow. It's like $15 and last through a couple dozen plants or so

edit = I get it on Amazon
