Question on making concentrates

Ok I have bud left from last years grow, but its leftover because I dont like it. Not that its bad weed, I dont like it because for me it causes tension in my back, which increases pain until I smoke enuf to find myself asleep. I have thought of making something with it, but if I dont like it now, why would I like it then? I have been giving this bud to others and they luv it, its Rusty Glue BTW, 28% THC strain/Hybrid.
So take a puff and give me your thoughts!

I would make dry sift hash - Moroccan style.
easiest way to get the trichomes and the quickest way to get a smoke🤟🏻 Of course it depends on the amount you have.

LOL, not as much as I had a few months ago, a couple of friends ran out and I gave them about 3 Oz's each to help get them through tell their plants were ready.

3 oz is still a quite a bit for making sift hash.

But BHO is a good way to make some concentrate if you don’t have much

Have you tried it this year? Sometimes weed after curing for a year is completely different than before.

I did pull some out to see what the flavors had done, still the same back tension, it will get you high as hell. Just for me it is not well balanced.

I bet if you made edibles out of it, the effect would be totally different. Do you make butter? So easy to use in everything.

I would assume exactly what you already are, if you don't like it when smoking it, you won't for edibles either. My assumption is that it still has the same characteristics because of the strain, no matter how it's ingested, so you are likely to get similar results. Maybe make it into some kind of topical? I made a topical from weed I didn't really like and it turned out pretty good and was actually pretty easy to make. I think the longest part was infusing the coconut oil. I actually have someone who wants me to make it without the cannabis because she swears it's the best moisturizer she's ever used 😂

Yes beeswax is crucial (forgot that one) emu oil is good for a lot of things, about 15 years ago I was turned on to it for a burn that was becoming a scar, you cant see it anymore.

Ok what I have read is their is almost 0 THC in the roots and logs, but they have other beneficial stuff in them that helps with arthritis (logs) and cancer (root), and need to do more research on that.

I've been making concentrates for my pain meds for about 4 years now.
I started making FECO using grain alcohol as the solvent.
Over the years I've learned a lot and improved my technique.
I now use an EtOH Pro from Extractcraft to recover the alcohol and for post-processing(vacuum purging).
All I can suggest would be to do some research before getting started, especially if you're using volatile solvent-they will blow up if you don't use proper methods.

That looks and reads nice, a bit hard to get off $600 at the moment! And the bigger machine is only $2000! They do look like nice systems and I would luv to have one!
