    Lights went out

Hey my breaker flipped. I ran downstairs to basement and flipped it back on. It was like 30secs. I'm already in flowering for month.
ok so they went out for 30 seconds then was back on till the timer shut them off like 2 minutes later.
will that fuck them up. My last girls turned hermie too.
Ahhhhhh I hope it dont hurt the cycle.
    Anyone got advice?

No harm to interrupt the light cycle, now had it been the dark cycle and the lights came on (repeatedly) that could be different! (or light leaks)

I don't think you'll have any issues from that brief interruption.
I'd be more concerned about WHY the breaker tripped. How much load is on that circuit?

          Plants will be fine...

i think thats the bigger more important question: why did the breaker trip?

Old house and whole upstairs on one. I turned air conditioner on and that caused it. I also have to shut everything down (besides lights) just to run my flowhood.
I'm going to change out the breaker for something that can withstand more.
        thanks everyone for replying

Be careful, dont want to make the wiring hot, as in hot enuf to burn! Can you divide the load?

That's what I figured. You need to get this sorted. Not so much for the tripping breaker but for the fire hazard from overheated wiring. Continuous current loads derate the current capacity of a conductor by 20%, so if you are using a 20A circuit it can only carry 16A continuously.

I agree with all the above. Plants will be fine, but there is a reason you have a 20 amp breaker. What gbauto says about the wiring, be careful. Maybe a heavy 50 ft. extension cord to run your grow off of a different circuit ?

It's a 15amp breaker. I'll check it out and see if I can split it to 2 15s . If not you think if I just put 20amp in it will be ok?
dude most my outlets are two prong. Like no ground wire.

If you’re talking about adding a new circuit, 20A is better if it’s done right. I’m not trying to be a buzz kill but if you’re not familiar with how to do it properly it’s best to have an electrician do it for you. You don’t want to replace the 15A breaker with a 20A breaker on your existing circuit, the wires in the walls are only rated for 15A and you need to match the breaker with properly rated wire otherwise you will increase your already existing fire hazard.
Failure is an opportunity for improvement!!

Yeah man I'm not sure what to do. Just got to not run the upstairs when my tent is on.
