Well poop. Smokey skies and crummy air again here in NW WA. Sadness. Eternally grateful to be in a tent, no matter how cramped it is.

I want one too and I have the same concerns. It's always something here, nothing comes easy in OK.

I would luv to have a nice green house, one that will take at least F2 winds, I mean just look at my poor GG4 that got blown over, 80 mph wind gust, which we have a lot of each year. I looked into building a quonset hut type, but the cover was outrageous.
-
Burping 60 jars is not fun! Watching the weather and the buds, Ms GSC is coming down today and hanging from her roots, some GG4 buds will go to rack, maybe some BB3 to rack also.
With this cool front, the RH has dropped, and the room is now at 45% RH, maybe some fresh buds will jump it back up to 50%.
I hope to have my soil more ready for next year than I was this year, and a lot of trees will be removed to expand the garden area, and let my girls get more hours of direct sunlight.

Rwise do you take off any or most of the leaf prior to cutting down and hanging? I'm starting to remove all the unwanted leaf from them as they near a day or so from harvest. But i'm not growing 10ft plants either so i get it. Do you use machine trimmer? I've done what you do now in the past when i was stronger. I just ran my hand over the plants after drying was all the trimming we would do. I'm looking at 3wks for my GSC outdoor.

SoOrbudgal I have removed some leaf, whats there on harvest day dries with them. My thought is it helps stabilized the buds, and then off to reductions with it. For me, I do a little at a time, and the buds stay long haired until broke up for the bong (other device). Some of what I am doing is old school vs new so I can see any dif for myself. All is done by hand, I have sticky fingers now, just trimmed a GG4. My GSC is now hanging by her roots.

Maybe I'm giddy from, so far, an extra dab, this morning. Got great news from the neighbor!
Whatever the case Rwise and FunkyButtLovin , and those who have property. Have any y'all thought about a bunker greenhouse? Dig down two or three feet and shore the walls. It would lower the profile of a greenhouse. Tall, sturdy cloches would work. Maybe hide the profile of an uncovered plant.
Seriously. Is this just the Hell OG and Watermelon Kush sauce and budder combination talking? Maybe the Maui Wowie raw hash? More experimentation. I must know.C'mon, mule!

The GSC was a clone, heres her roots, and some GG4 trimmings. Today boxes emptied into jars, racks cleared to boxes, hanging plat to boxes, hang the GSC and fill the rack with GG4.
I took the bigger buds from the GG4 as I thought they were getting bud rot, after digging in deep I am not sure. Some of it is not off colour, like its been cut off from the stem, not rotting off. I did find a bug looks kinda like a spotted stink bug, I smashed it so. An odd thing is all the damage is the same height off the ground. Nothing below or above, anyway I have this for sure, and maybe what I left will fatten up more.4 Photos

I just finished chopping the Thai Skunk from outdoor. I defoliated her a couple days ago while she was still in the pot outdoors. Just started doing this with outdoor so much easier less time consuming to me. Couple days prior to taking them down i do heavy defoliation. And i shake the crap out of them before bringing them inside my house. It took 2hrs of trimming to get the branches with good size buds all ready to hang. Little larfy buds went into large paper bag to cure.

I think I got spider bit yesterday playing with buds, I hurt like hell and am swollen a bit all over, I hate spider bites!
Took the budslets that were bit,cut off from the GG4, dry not cured and damn this is nice, I can hardly wait for cured in smoke! I know this is bud worm damage, but I have not found a single one, just the evidence they were there. I think the praying mantis is getting them as soon as they come out.
I have lost count of jars put up, but its around 80 quarts so far, not a bad year all in all. I will change a few things for next year.

I have been doing partial harvests to make it easier on me, had I not burned the roots in mid flower, there would be more, it is what it is. Since these pics I have put the GSC into jars, and a partial GG4 today in half gallons. I too have watched all year for jars local, I may turn to the WWW, lately it seems I can get things delivered cheaper than going and getting them.

I ordered 12 64oz widemouth jars through Amazon in mid September, supposed to arrive by the 30th. By Oct. 5th they tracked as delayed? I called Amazon and they refunded me. Seller had tons of bad reviews I found out. Ended up getting some 32 oz jars cheap at Target. Already had filled all 24 of my 64oz. jars saved from last year.

Well harvest if finally finished for me. Damn I’m tired four days of cutting and trimming. This is my Blue Dream big cola and I finished with 15 gallons of green crack buds alone. And I needed a drink so I popped a bottle of booze and had a drink. I turn the big 50 tomorrow. Oh and Boomer Fucking Sooner! and the swear word is worth any penalty I receive.Last edited by Booger789; 10-11-2020, 08:15 PM.4x4 flower tent

Frost! Within 5 feet of the girls but they didn't get hit, I did wash the THP off before sunup just in case. Both BB3s and 1 GG4 is in dry now, the other GG4 will come down today. The THP gets a close up with the 30x to see where she is at, at a glance not ready yet. I will move her inside soon and try a reveg on her, maybe make a few clones.

I am still a but swollen from the spider venom, at least the pain is gone. But I have slacked on taking pics, everything is now in. I did leave some small buds on them just to see how long the live in the cold. The THP is inside and not wanting to reveg, so it will likely not be in the winter grow. They have been frosted on twice now, 1 plant is near death, but the Sour Tangie and a GG4 are taking it well.
Smoke report
The Super Skunk Kush by Garden of Green, well its not for me, nowhere near strong enuf, and with all the mutation was also hard to grow/train/trim. My brother also grew one of these, he tossed it in the trash. I'll try brownies made with some before I toss it in the compost.
The Dresden Green Diamond by Garden of Green, luv this, it turned out really well, and with the seeds from BB3 males should make a wonderful cross! Both are nice heavy setting plants.
The GG4 as expected is very nice, and the few seed I got with BB3 males should be a good cross also.
The others I am not into yet, I would expect the BB3 and GSC to be nice and will update as I do open the jars and start using it.
