I just want to add: I first joined another forum after I got my first seedlings going in my grow box. Over the summer and into the fall, after I had discovered GWE, I quoted it like crazy, directing other newbies to various GWE links to learn what I had learned and put to very good use. Finally, I got scolded in November for mentioning GWE so much; one member thought it was insulting to the forum "experts." And it was funny, cuz other members quoted GWE--not just me. It just got too hostile , big egos, Trump supporters who wanted to build a wall to keep out the liberals, and not just a little misogyny. It was the first forum I ever joined in my life; I was hurt by some of the nasty comments directed at me. I deleted my account.
Then I joined GWE forum, where all y'all are so kind to each other, complimentary and supportive of others' successes, good sense of humor, etc. I feel right at home here, and the vibe is awesome.Anyone can grow schwag. If you want to grow top shelf bud, study hard: https://www.growweedeasy.com

Hi there, I'm just getting everything in order for my first grow. GWE is my first reference and I will be starting in about 2 weeks. I ordered a 4' X 4' X 7' grow tent and got a 5' X 5' X 7" one, happy me. I will be running a 600W HPS system and have been prepping my basement the past 2 weekends. At 50, I finally decided that I can do this and add the fact that Canada should be legalizing in 2017, I feel pretty safe
Slow is smooth, Smooth is fast
First grow 600W HPS w/air cooled fixture growing in a CoCo and Perlite medium.

Thank you all, I have been insulating and walling up my basement, cause I dont want my plants to get cold. Over X-Mas I will get the wiring hooked up and reread the beginners steps of how to mix perlite and coco mix. I have ordered seeds from Nirvana (Blackjack and AK48) and then we begin. happy to be a new member, also happy I found the GWE web page and forum. looking forward to learning from all the experienced members.
started my first run just about 4 weeks ago from seed. things have been progressing nicely until a few days ago. think i got figured out with all the info I one GWE today. if I dont see some sort of improvement by tomorrow I will will make a post with some pics and hopefully get it figured out. have a good night everyone!Comment
