I hear you. It's easy for people in cities to ignore the effects humans are having on the planet, but if we don't start changing our habits, the next thing we know there won't be wild parts outside the cities to see anymore

just happened upon this by accident. weasel, i knew you were remote but not THAT remote. i am so sorry. that must be such a downer to deal with on a daily basis. you really are on the front lines. man, i'm sorry.
oh, and my original comment to the topic itself was that i too have random, weird trouble using the site with safari, so much so that i dloaded firefox and can use it only to post... it's kind of a pain bc everything else i do is in safari, so it makes it that i have to do my forum ish "all at once" whereas if i could use safari easily i would be able to check in more frequently.
finally, this is not forum forum related but forum inbox related. over the last 2+days my inbox has done all the of the following: showed my regular messages, showed i had NO messages, not stored not sent, as if i had never messaged. showed only say the last 3 of the current message exchange. very very frustrating, especially if you're getting help from someone via PM.... i STILL don't have my full inbox but ihave enough of the most recent items to "make do". thank you, nebula, for all you do and for starting the forum. it's a really cool really good place.

Its good to finally find a forum that is there to try and help. With all the garbage information on the internet about growing, its easy go down the path of improper practices.
Everything that I have read on GWE has helped me immensely. I am really happy to be here and be able to have access to the right information. Love to grow everything. There is no better therapy than to be in your garden surrounded by plants. Doesn't matter if it is outside in my vegetable garden with my tomatoes or inside with my medicine, nothing is better for you.(In my opinion anyway.) Hello all but esp. Sirius and Nebula. Just joined the forum but have been using the web site as a "white paper" for my first grow. Great vibe. Such nice and friendly folk. (A welcome change from most of the rhetoric out there).
If my pic uploads you can see my first 12 LEGAL plants (thanks Massachusetts voters). Two Mango Skunk(fem), two Raspberry Cough(fem) and 8 free seeds(m/f) from Nirvana.

Great forum,great website. Having lived in africa for the last 20 years i was never short of dope. That of course changed when i moved to germany a few month ago where i dont know anyone. Growing my own stuff seemed the obvious solution. Most of the necessary info I got of the groweasy website. There seems to be no blabla there. Checking out things there for nearly 2 month i always pictured that Nebula Haze is the nome de guerre for some old,bearded hippy. Imagine my surprise when i finally stumbeld across a picture of you. Sorry I know that is really a bad sign of male chauvinism ( girls dont grow dope etc.), but I just had to laugh. Must be your technical,no nonsense way that left that impression.
