Northern VT got quite a bit of snow. I also know the flip side, went through hurricane Hugo(and a few before it) when I lived in Myrtle Beach, we stayed and the aftermath really sucked

My sister in law got 14” of snow last night in Vt and during Sandy, we lost power for insane miserable days

Chopped off the bottom for security reasons. It's one of the palms out my balcony. I have a few slivers of ocean out the west. When you see this sort of thing day after day, it's just part of the scenery. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

Real windy here in Southeast MA., lost power just after 4pm. Fired up the natural gas powered generator and my girls barely noticed. I’m not sure I’d run DWC if I didn’t have the generator.

We had tornado warning here and intense thunder storms yesterday; today the wind blew like there was no tomorrow and temperature is dropping to low 30s. Who needs a television?

Snow is all soft and gentile and fun to play in and makes for pretty pictures. Hurricanes and tornadoes are way more interesting than snow. Lots more to do what with trying to keep yourself alive. It's not as easy as you think, dodging flying cows and house pets.
Then there's the large-than-golf ball sized hail. Gotta have a helmet for those suckers.
Pfft. I yellow on your snow.
