Today is day 66 for the Blue Cheese. She is beefing out slightly, and still looking pretty healthy. I have to do some defoliation I think because she is overgrown with leaves again.

Can't wait to harvest this one!

    Have a great day everyone.

going to be a chunky cheese I think. I have 3 cheese seeds from Seedsman that will be slotted into a grow hopefully this year.

Hey, Doubledealing72, been following this grow just for the Red Poison, but your pics are so great, guess I'll have to follow you the end! LOL Seriously, I have four autos in the tent right now (week five), but have two RP seeds (Sweet Seeds) earmarked for next grow, so was tickled to be able to watch your grow before I started mine. Rust colored spots, huh? Good to know. Any idea why? Knowing me, I'd have all my hair pulled out trying to find a remedy (broody mama, for sure). If it's a normal thing I won't freak out too much. Was glad to see that you got a decent yield, too. Purple is a thing of beauty! I also have a C4 freebie from Fastbuds that is supposed to be purple too, so next grow, the tent will be absolutely ROYAL! Any tips or advice on this strain you might have would be greatly appreciated -- have another three or so weeks before I drop another batch in the shot glass (or paper towel)!

Thanks Sheri! In grow 2 I also grew some red Poison. I believe in terms of beauty, those ones were far prettier, take a peek!

I'm not sure what causes those rust colored spots, but they didnt seem to affect them too much. I wish I had a better answer for ya!

This was my 5th Red Poison plant i believe, and every one of them had those little rust spots. Maybe a possible salt build up? I grow in coco, and if you don't water frequently enough salt deposits can start forming.

Looking forward to seeing your grow!

Gosh Damn, 476! After reading/drooling over your grow 2, I went back and read/drooled over all the rest of them -- You have a book on here, sweetie! This grow I'm running right now is my first with autos (and in a tent; closed down my basement room & moved the show upstairs) and I must say, you are a wealth of info on the subject. I only topped and LST'd mine, now I'm wishing I'd have chopped them more but I was a scaredy-cat, afraid I'd kill 'em. YOU should do a step-by-step on mainlining autos (video would be good)! I have two Amnesia Haze that want to be mini shrubs no matter how often I bend & defoliate, but too late now, they're throwing pistils all over.

This is also my first coco/perlite grow, so I went over to the CocoForCannabis site, and they had lots of good advice on salt build-up and what have you. We'll see.
The only problem is, I can't wait to grow some Red Poison beauties of my own now! No lie, I ordered an HLG 100 veg light last week, and it may be pressed it into service more quickly than anticipated. Thank you so much for sharing. Spots or not, them are some BeeYooTeeFull plants ya got goin' on!

BTW Daskahn . . . Chickens? uhmm, no.

ChefSheri thanks! I've journaled every grow I have done so far so I could look back at them for reference if I needed to. I appreciate the kind words!

I mainlined autos for a while. If you want some youtube videos on it, search green75 and his videos should pop up. After mainlining, I started quadlining, which leaves 2 nodes on instead of one.

Check out the Quadline thread in my signature. That is pretty close to step by step lol.

I was also super excited to start my Red Poisons when I got them! I saw a few grow journals of it and couldn't wait to get started! I look forward to seeing yours!

Today is day 88 for the Blue Cheese. She is close to finishing, but I'm not seeing too many amber trichomes. The amber ones I have seen are on the sugar leaves, and none on the actual bud yet. This plant would probably be a great one for a staged harvest, but I don't know if I'll end up going that route.

      Have a great week everyone.

I'd be tempted to take one bud, dry/cure it and see how it does.

24/0 seems to work well for you, many others too. I'll be starting my second grow maybe by the end of the month and it's going to be all autos. I want to put them on 24/0 but I think 20/4 is going to be the compromise to show my wallet a little mercy.

Thats what I like about my autocobs. I only pay about $35 a month for my whole setup.

I've been looking into getting a more cost effective lighting setup but not sure what to pull the trigger on. Those autocobs are nice looking tho.

Today was day 94 for the Blue Cheese, and also harvest day!

This one was the mutant that had 3 branches per node instead of the usual 2. I was very happy to have this plant go all the way to harvest with no problems.

The bottom nodes were far heavier than the top ones. If i had to guess, i would go with 5 to 6 oz off this one.

      Here's the pics

      FINAL GROW REPORT:

      TRAINWRECK: 80.7g or 2.7 oz

RED POISON: 80g or 2.5 oz

BLUE CHEESE: 138g or 4.92 oz

      TOTAL: 298.7g or 10.66 oz

      ELECTRICITY: ~4 MONTHS AT ~$35/MONTH = $140

      GPW: 1.12

      SUMMARY:

Well, certainly wasn't my best grow, but things didn't go horribly either. I knew the Trainwreck and Red Poison wouldn't yield a ton, and even with the quadline technique I couldn't get much more off of them than in the past. I was far happier with the flavor of both of these plants this time around, so I guess my curing game is getting better lol.

The Blue Cheese did really good considering it was a mutant. That could have ended badly depending on the mutation lol. She is very tasty, not quite what i remember blue cheese tasting like but still good.

Since I have already smoked all the Trainwreck and Red poison, I'm hoping the Blue Cheese will get me through to my next harvest. With this quarantine going on, I have been smoking way more so we shall see how long it goes lol.

As always, thanks to everyone on this site for being awesome. I'm sad we didn't get to see the Alaskan Purple through, but I gave it the good old college try.

      Have a great week everyone!
