    Day 14 of flower
Arrived home to find they were underwatered but not badly so and getting too much light. Had grown another 4" easy in 5 days. Have about tripled in size height wise since flipping.
Lights back up to 36" above the canopy for 725 to 800 down the middle 2 feet. Lights are almost at full height now.
On flower nutes only now at 60% of recommended. Pushing VPD to the higher side and continuing to supplement with reds as these Spiderfarmers are quite strong in blue. pH 6.15 RH53% Temps 80⁰F day, night 72⁰F & 52%RH averages.

I would say try get or borrow a temp gun and check . I assumed 2-3 less than air temp before I checked turns out my garden is almost always 0 offset.
Whatever it is it will significantly change you VPD targets

Smallgrow if it's transpiring (the plants alive) it is not a zero offset. It will be 3 to 4⁰F lower if it is transpiring at healthy rates. Your gun is likely not too accurate or maybe your air temp thermometer is reading a tad low....it must be lower....oh..the leaves may be getting baked by the lights..that'll do it.

That’s a interesting point. I’m waiting on my new accurate thermohydrometer to find out some more precise readings on tent temp and humidity, and calibrate my other devices. Hopefully I can get better VPD going after that

I've harvested the hype tent. (Lmfao, cherry gar-see-ya, & Island chill)

Nice Art "Going to Fast" looks like a good imagination too..

Keeping on top of these has proven to be a challenge.
Bulk of trimming done. Yes, my babies are not happy. Yes it's a pretty shit job, but it's something.
    Till next week.

Well, here we are in week 10! I'm holding out for bigger buds while looking out for white seeds. That would suck! While I was away vinegar won the pH down contest between it and lemon juice. I don't know about y'all but my plants didn't really like the lemonade! The Lemon Haze plants are hopeless. Without a doubt the hardest I've tried to grow so far. The Magnum (like always) came through with flying colors. Now for the kicker... the Gelado; coming in at 35 inches from dirt to tip with 4 large colas and a Hell-of-a-lot-a-buds all over. Without a doubt my best so far. And who do I have to thank for my newfound talents... Mr.furley and Bluey. Thanks for takin' time to teach me.You guys' rock! Oh yeah, I started molasses, we'll see how that works out!

        Lookin good!
Don't forget...a great grow can go to shit with an improper dry/cure. Some say that when you take em down, only half the work is done! 😉

      When to fertilize?
I've never reused soil before but the nursery I buy my organic mix from is closed for the season. I bought a generic soil-rebuilder from Walmart and mixed one part of it to four parts of soil. 20 days in and I haven't given any nutes yet. The rebuilder had tiny amounts like point-something or point-zero-something. (I wish I could remember.) I've not enough experience to know but I think the little girl is looking good and I hope to keep her that way.

I've never used pre-fertalized soil before but I'm thinking that since I'm not watering the whole bag yet that there still are nutes in much of the soil... At some point I expect to do a flush to get to a known point but it doesn't look (to me) like she needs messing with yet.

Not the ideal time for me, this plant has yellowing and die off so instead of the bud rot risk iv turned down the Rh and started chopping in stages. Bud I cut smoked like 1994 last week so good to go.

Last mouldy harvest Mrs. Bluey did the wet trimming and she did such a great job that not much dry trimming was required. She placed the buds on a fly wire screen about 4' x 3' and we blew air gently across and through it until it was ready for the jars. Probably a tad over dried but we all know what mould does

I just love this pic...zoom right in. It's my cleaners phone, she takes pics fir me and sends em..taken this morning

Beautiful loong slender fingers and a bud in the making!

On my third my third grow. Photoperiods planted December 30. Pics from 3 weeks ago. Chocolate mint pics after defoliation and right before flip to flower. Chocolate Mint will be defoliated again at about 21 days of flowering. Plan on defoliating and flipping the unknown genetics plant to flower in a few days (2 plants).
The last picture is from today. These plants (Chocolate mint) are in a 3'x4' tent that usually has a wall to create separate 3x3 and 1x3 spaces. I was not expecting a 100% success rate for my first clones, but all 6 made it and are all thriving so I opened up the area and I am using the entire 3x4 area to flower, but my light spread is not sufficient. You can see in the last picture the plants on the right are not getting enough light. I am considering making a hanging fixture for some CFLs by drilling some holes in a board for some lamp sockets, then use some Y sockets to double the bulbs. As I am new to growing I wanted to ask for advice before doing that. Ideally I would also use this light in the 1x3 area for seedlings and small veg plants in the future.
        Questions:
If I do build a fixture as described, how many lamp sockets should I use across this 1x3 foot area?
Any other suggestions to light this area?

Thanks for all I have learned from this community just by reading about other peoples issues.

Yes. They are looking good and yes you will run out of space too. Flip quickly unless you have another grow area. I don't know about CFL for growing sorry.

Buy a LED cheaper and better coverage less heat better spectrum. Now if you want further help create a different post this is a show off your plant thread. Good luck

im not an advocate but, spider farmer was running a sale on the sp2000 around 199 last week.

By the time you get enuf CFLs above them, with the work and costs, a cheap LED is not much more. Also CFLs make a lot of heat, not so good in hot weather.

well after the steam pipe replacement I'm ready for the rest of the girls I am running a trial run with all the lights on, exhaust fan to check the heat fluctuations with the lights on and off the way I regulate the heat is to cycle the exhaust fan on and off and I dont want to put the new babys in there without knowing how the temps are the 6 girls in there now have been in the room for 1 week under a 315 lec left on 24/7 I had 1 midnight mass and 2 Banana Kush autos and 3 LSD autos. The Midnight Mass will be transplanted into a 20 gallon pot .
the third picture is of my green house thats right it doesn't exist any more,it collapsed in the storm Mon,Tuesday and Wednesday, still I think we were way luckier than the folks in Cali. I remember 1 year in Maine were we had tunnels from the front door to the street and wood pile, but I was a kid so it was fun

All that snow reminds me of Grand Forks Air Force Base. Dang them were some bad winters.

Last winter a storm started peeling off our green house panels, luckily a warm spell followed and we were give time to repair it...Never knew anything about bending wood, but it was required to reinforce the structure...Nice little wall paper steamer with couple of C clamps did the job, along with PL and ton of screws..However your situation looks a bit more extrema...luckily you had Plan B..

Looks like my place last week! All the recent rain has about melted two feet of snow. Its coming bud!
                Nice room also. 😋
