ID:	307060 I have two RQS diesel autos at 10 weeks now. First time I tried autos. According to RQS they are supposed to finish from seed in 8-9 weeks. One looks about done and the other has continued to keep growing higher all “pre-flowers” during the same time the other matured. I switched my lamp to 12/12 two weeks ago and still looks the same. How to trick the autos when they don’t want to flower?

Don’t grow autos, but when I experience issues like this on my photos, I drop the lights on hours to about 10 and off to 14. Might even as low as 8 on and 16 off. Yields can suffer, but they will finish fast.

They were freebies. If if does finally mature it should yield more than that other it’s so much bigger now. But I use kindsoil so I have a time limit before the soil is used up I reckon

I don’t use kind soil, but know there is a time release factor with some hot soil brands.

Hmm I never had a photo stubborn to flower yet. But I’ve only been growing for a few years. I’ve been lucky I guess. Not pests no hermies etc so far. 🤞🤞

My first thought was get rid of half of those fan leaves, and hit em with a more powerful light.

I haven’t done any training or removed any fans except for some yellowing lower ones on either plant. This is the only light I got it’s done well on my photo grows.

Even still you gotta get light on those lower buds or they will not grow. Ditch the fan leaves.

I’ll remove em on my photos. I guess I will on the big sister.

I grow autos an I would say 8 weeks is flower time not from germination like some sites claim. I run my lights 20/4. Hsp 1000, an a led. In soil. Area 6x13x7.5 ft. I try to keep it simple as possible. Seems to be getting me buy.

That’s cool. Very frosty. Mine started budding 4-5 weeks ago. I’m not in a hurry to cut the little one yet. The trics seem only about 50/50 right now.

My first autos, well I slowed them down by feeding them coffee for N and to lower PH. I had no idea that coffee (caffeine) would do this, but 56-80 day plants took 120 days! The girls dont got coffee anymore,,,,

Auto's do NOT flower by a change in light schedule etc.- increasing the "lights off" time will only cut the yield of the other plants!
I have grown autos for years and this is the first time I have experienced a "No Go" flowering event (2 plants) in my current grow.

One is part of this thread: https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...lization/page3 and took 12 weeks to flower- but has stalled to the point I'm considering- taking it out of the tent.

I have a second one which began pre-flowers and stalled.

I will be taking some action to free up the tent space for a productive seed, as the time/effort beyond a few weeks it fruitless.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

Well I guess we have lots of salad greens then. I’m going to run this one out for awhile anyways since this is my last grow before summer vacation plans.

Weed Pharma, I've gone through several Cycles of autos, and I just got rid of one Auto that Ended up being a hundred and seventy days old before I trashed it. It's sisters were harvested long ago. She looked fantastic in the beginning, very nice big colas, but the pre flowers or the little pistols never ripened. I never got actual bud 2 form. It too initially was in kind soil, and that ran out of gas so to speak so I started using regular notes on her. Very very strange event I'll tell you.
