    Green house review

so we had 50 mile an hour gusts and its still standing the wind did damage one zipper on the door , I like it overall it has 5 different panels the sides go from the horizontal bar to ground the end doors and the top I was able to get it done by myself , the issues I had trouble with tieing down the sides but once the ground thaws I have some rebar stakes to drive in the ground and I will put some type of clip to that so it will hold them down but I can disconnect them to roll them up , the panels are held on by these plastic clips I thought they would suck but they worked really well except for the top of the frame every pipe connection is mechanical the top frame does slide into the bottom so I added some self tapping screws so they are not going anywhere so all in all I'm pretty pleased with it I paid 300 for mine but its on sale now for 260 timeing lol I dug 8 holes per side with 2 in the middle so I can do 18 plants 6 per adult is the legal limit so I will have to grow the rest in the woods

I wouldn't mind trying an outdoor, but it's not possible for me lol. I'm content with my basement grow for now 😁

Maybe oldjarhead100 will furnish a link for his supplier. Sounds like they are giving away product. It just might entice you.

That's a great setup. I also have the wind issues especially during mid summer where I live warm winds. Winter lots of wind/rain but mine is 1/2 that size. We still staked it down more areas hammered old barn siding into the ground on side sections used long stakes my hubby made from iron really sturdy. It's lasted 2yrs so far. We can only grow 4 plants per household but do use it most of the year perpetual ongoing grows. Your gonna love it. Saved a monster jack herer from mold last fall took up 1/2 the tent loved it.

I want a greenhouse so bad. Only place I could put one is on my driveway though. One day I'll have a nice chunk of land like that! 300 bucks is a decent price!

Have to move it from my urban property to my acreage yet. Usually do it around May 15th. Had a light freeze last night so earliest would be the end of the month. I am going to move my monster cropped White Russian out of the basement to a grow tent in the barn. It is taking over the basement. CMH will keep it warm through the night.

Looks awesome, OJH! That's for summer, right? So you aren't going to use your garden anymore?

I wish I had the outdoor space for something like this, very cool set-up. Did they change the plant count here in MA? It’s always been 6 per adult but the last time I checked in they capped it at 12 per household. I haven’t looked into it in almost 2 years so I could be wrong.
Failure is an opportunity for improvement!!

No I think its still 6 per adult , One of my wife's girl friend is having a hard time right now she is over all the time so I asked her and if necessary we will say she is staying with us for the summer .hopefully there wont be a problem at all ,I dont expect one , I asked my sister who lives in the house but she is on opiods and can not have anything to do with weed

"You can grow up to 6 plants in your home, and up to 12 plants for 2 or more adults"

So, can you legally roll the sides of the greenhouse up for ventilation, making the plants visible to others (if that's case)?
"The plants cannot be visible from a public place without the use of binoculars, aircraft or other optical aids"

Here we can have 2 mature and 4 immature plants. Looks like they may be passing a sales tax regulation law here, which also may include saliva testing for impaired driving, of course it doesn't and can't determine if you are impaired.
I really hate this part, call me paranoid but I think it's a grab for our dna sample.

I see an ubiquitous number of newly constructed greenhouses on my drive into the city. You are welcome to move to the Great State of Colorado!

starramus I miss Colorado, spent almost 10 years there in the 70's, early 80's. Lived in Aurora, Wheat Ridge, then moved to Keystone mtn. and worked condo maintenance...what a blast! Keystone had employee housing at the time, was like a college dorm, large fun. Also remember chamber maids wearing ugly brown uniforms, if I remember correctly back then, Ralston Purina owned Taco Bell and Keystone, hence the ugly brown taco bell uniforms (ha,ha) (also lived in Denver on Federal Ave, was a bad section of town(g)--parked cars in my yard for good bucks for the Bronco games)
Then I moved to Miami.............that's a story for another day, at that time the boats were landing on the beaches from Cuba.
Oh to be 20 years old again, with no responsibilities!

GreenState Come on back to the greenest state! (Greenest if you close your eyes to the brown of the high desert.) If you do make a return be sure, and bring plenty of dinero as Denver real estate prices are as inflated as San Francisco's. I have been a Coloradan for 20 years. On my winter AZ, and southern CA trips I always admired colorful Colorado, and eventually moved here. When you are 20 years old you pretty much have a good time wherever you are except of course Vietnam. But some even had a good time there.

With the dampness we've had lately, was curious what/if kind of drainage you had to install before setting up your greenhouse? Would almost seen as though you would need a leech field type system under the GH or at least around the perimeter.

I just put that section of the yard in 2 years ago it runs from the middle to the far left its full of sand then 10 inches of cranberry bog compost , It turned out to pack so hard nothing liked it lol so when I dug the holes I made sure to get to the sand so they would drain

I got the replacement door in I had to unpack all the other parts of the green house to get to it ,I had a great idea (so thats this month thinking out the window) I took poles from the new one and clipped them to the bottom of the sides so they would hold the side down when not up and I could open and close as needed it worked good , I have one side left to do but I need to move my RV first

I don't suppose there is any way to lock such a greenhouse? I'm currently thinking about installing a greenhouse, and will probably go with solid walls, but really only because of concern about getting popped by CO for not having it locked.

I have a chain link fence around the inside with one gate at the door , I had a choice I could buy the green house and use its poles or buy the poles for the chain link , I used tie wraps to attach the top and then the wire fence ties (they make an unbelievable good tie down hook instead of wire ).. I built green house using 4x4s as a base drilled holes in them for the poles and then tied the green house to them. I also attached the chain link to the 4x4s

its the end of June the GH has been through the ringer big storms, heavy winds and yesterday hail ,its still standing with no damage the one thing they could improve on is the side flaps ,I have poles wrapped in the bottom of the sides with rope tied to them to pull them up ,all in all I'm very happy with this GH
