Thanks OJH, but sometimes pics are deceiving lol. When I weighed it out, I ended up with about 11 oz total from the 2 plants. After they sat in a jar for about 12 hours, I checked on them to find they still had quite a bit of moisture. So I'm guessing by the time they are dry, I should have around 9-10 oz total.
I like how easy it is to trim doing the manifolding/quadlining style. For quadlining, I like to snap off an entire branch (1/4 of the plant), and work on trimming that part.
Sounds like we harvested pretty close to each other lol. Congrats on yours sir!

11 zips from 2 plants thats nothing to be upset about lol I only got 8 ounces from 7 plants lol

Today is day 92 for the Jock Horror.
Her buds are starting to fatten up, and at the moment she has the whole tent to herself. This particular plant did not have an ideal quadline. I let the branches get way too stiff before I started training her, hence why she is all bunched up looking in comparison to my other plants.
That being said, she was an odd duck from the start. She was always behind everyone, came out with one cotyledon, and is probably going to take the record of my longest plant to harvest (131 days).
Moving on to the smoke reports and final numbers of the GSC and Sour Diesel.
Total number for GSC - 140 grams, or 5 oz.
GSC auto by lineage genetics was definitely the most potent smelling plant in the tent. She smells earthy and sweet. She also tastes the best out of the 2, and gets the job done.
Total number for Sour Diesel - 173g, or 6 oz 5g.
She was the tallest plant in the tent by a long shot, but the buds only started about 2/3 from the top of the branch. So far, her taste is very mellow and mild. I was hoping for a diesel taste, but she doesn't have too much of a taste at all. The high is good though 👌
For the next grow, I'll be doing another throwback, since I'm almost out of seeds I haven't tried yet lol. It will consist of 3 bears, red poison, and trainwreck. I attempted 3 bears before, but ended up with fungus gnats. This caused nanners and I ended up pulling her.
Have a great day everyone!
Jock Horror
As an aside, check out this ashtray I epoxied lol. I have been venturing into epoxy land lately. It's a lot of fun, especially when you can put weed in it lol.

I got them from the cobshop.net. the owner of the site is pretty cool
-
I pulled up the web site thanks, how much of a foot print ,do they give off
-
I cannot remember lol. But even though their wattage is so low, they are actually more efficient, meaning more light gets to the plants than an hps bulb. I believe I remember seeing something like HPS being about 25%, and these being about 50.
It's been a long time so these numbers may be horribly skewed lol

Today is day 100 for the Jock. She keeps trucking along slowly. Her buds are still getting thicker, and she smells real nice.
This one was always behind the other 2, even though she was planted on the same day. Just the luck of the seed lottery I suppose lol. I don't expect to get more off her than the other 2. I imagine she will weigh up similar.
Grow 9 is officially underway, but no sprouting yet. I imagine in the next couple of days I will see them though.
Have a great week everyone!

Looking great I so want to drop some seeds and get the grow room running again but I have to resist lol
-
Thanks OJH, I wanted to get the seeds in earlier, but I was lazy for like a week lol.
-
I shut the grow rooms down for the summer just to hard to control humidity and temps in bloom, I think the next grow I'm going to do the whole run in the bloom room during veg through bloom just to see how it does
-
Today is day 106 for the Jock. She's still fattening up, and starting to ripen. I think I'm officially ready to give it the proverbial 2 weeks.
I recalibrated my pH pen recently, and found out I was ph'ing the water way too low. It was probably around 5.2-5.3.
She might end up being the heavy yielder this round. The buds go quite a ways down the branch. I tried to get it in the photo, but they never do me justice lol.

Today is day 112 for the Jock. She is ripening a little more everyday. She still has a little ways to go, and I was thinking about doing a staged harvest on this one. I've never tried it, but it would be cool to let the bottom nugs get some light and plump up a bit more.
Have a great week everyone.

Today is day 113 for the Jock, and I regrettably had to pull her. I noticed one leaf in particular looked unusual, and under the microscope I saw spider mites. I was hoping this day would never come, but it happened.
So after freaking out about it for a few minutes (it was 4am and no stores open to grab spider mites stuff), I decided the best thing to do was to chop the plant and engage in my first bud wash.
I had seen bud washing before on YouTube and thought it was insane, but enough people have done it so I figured I would give it a try. 3 5 gallon buckets, one with 1/4 cup baking soda and lemon juice. Fill them all with water, dunk them in the first one, then the second then the third.
The branches are hanging with a fan blowing on them, and it's almost already as dry as it would be when you chop it down to harvest.
So I sprayed my girls that are still in the tent with mighty wash, so let's hope I have eradicated them.
Anyway, here are pics from my reluctant harvest

what a bummer I was trimming up a plant and there was a spider web at the bottom near the soil shit I said and wiped it away then this little monster of a pissed off spider came looking for trouble lol not really I left him be, happy it was a spider not a mite

I was hoping I would never have to deal with them, but here we are. The worst part is I don't know how they got there so I can prevent them from getting there again lol.
-
Well, this grow kinda ended how it started...shitty lol.
After finding out I had spidermites, I took my plant down and gave it a budwash.
I sprayed my new grows plants with mighty wash, and while I haven't seen any signs of spidermites, they aren't looking the healthiest. However, I didn't spray any water on them the next day, so that's probably why.
Anyway, I have the Jock dried and curing now, so here's the final weigh up for this grow.
FINAL NUMBERS AND SUMMARY:
GIRLSCOUT COOKIES - 140g (5 oz)
SOUR DIESEL - 173g (6 oz 5g)
JOCK HORROR - 114.8g (4 oz 2g)
TOTAL HARVEST - 427.8g (15 oz 7g).
I'm happy with this number given how it started and ended lol. I think the Jock would have yielded at least another oz if the spidermites hadn't been there.
I think I was becoming more careless with my grow than when I started out. Going to the grow room after mowing the lawn or working outside cannot happen any more. I'll be sure to be far more careful about when I go down there from now on.
Grow 9 is under way now, and this grow is over.
Thanks for coming along everyone!

Thanks everyone, I'm hoping they are all gone. I haven't seen any on the young ones, so far so good.
Thanks HappyDaze , the Girlscout is pretty tasty. I hope yours grows well too! The next grow is already under way

Mcubed476, as a point of curiosity, are you willing to share where you got your Girl Scout Cookies seeds?
I was able to pick up that strain from a local store, and will probably give it a try shortly. If I like it (and based on reviews, I probably will!), it might be worth sourcing some seeds and growing it 'en mass. Just since $70 for an eighth oz seems a little steep! Legalization is fun, but expensive here.
-
Hey eigholte! The strain is from lineage genetics, and I got them off of seedsman.
