Ok, I've never grown weed in soil but I'm thinking that soil should hopefully get you through until you have to transplant. Make sure there's lots of drainage in the bottom and that you don't overwater. That size you probably don't want more than about 1 tablespoon at a time and normal tap water should hopefully have enough minerals in it for the seedling for a couple of weeks if there's no nutrients in the soil. Hopefully a soil grower comes along to comment on this thread.

How do you plan to proceed when transplanting?
      Things like:
      pot type / Size?
Soil & perlite? If so, what sort of soil?
      Any soil amendments?
      Nutrients?

just to add i am not looking forward for massive yield, i ll be satisfied even with 30gr, or even less, considering its my first grow .

Seedling looks fine, maybe streching a bit. What kind of CFL's are you using? May need to put them closer. There is lots of info here to read. Big help!

6" Vortex exhaust fan w/speed control
    6" Carbon filter
    3- 6" fans
    humidifier
    temp and humidity gauge
5 gal smart pots w/ FFOF soil
    FF trio nutrients

You should be happy with that plant. The CFL is already close enough to the plant in the pics shown-
The medium does not provide good drainage from what I see and I would suggest you let it dry out very well before next watering!
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

Looks fine to me. You need perlite in your soil though. Have a gently breeze blowing over plant to help make that delicate stem more sturdy.

Just don't buy miracle grow soil or nutrients. Time released and too strong for marijuana. I would suggest bigger than a one gallon pot, 3 to 5 gallon. Get a good organic soil with a nice mix of perlite. Fill bucket about 2/3 full. Do not compact soil. Water lightly. Remove plant from pot trying to keep as much of the existing soil attached to roots intact. Place in bucket and fill up will soil, including some of the now existing stem. Water again. Soil will gradually settle over time and you may have to top it off. Just make sure its nice and loose when you do the transplant. Forgot to say.......drill drainage hole in bucket unless you get something that already has drainage holes. After plant has about 6 new sets of leaves, pinch off top so plant does not grow like a Christmas tree.

Plants can usually stay in solo cup 2 to 3 weeks. Come back with pictures on a regular basis and we will help you.

pls one more thing i am really worried about, i have noticed , as new pair of leaves startitng to grow first pair (not the ones came from husk) of leaves are like folding , moving towards soil is it normal or if its not what can be cause how to fix it , also why i have feeling that my stem will collapse ?

        #9
Let it dry out (get soil dry for 1" minimum) and most issues will go away- including feeling like the stem will collapse-I am assuming you do NOT use a dome or mist the plant!

Definitely give it a breeze with a small fan, that will strengthen it. Follow Insomiaczzz transplanting info, keep your CFL bulbs not more than two inches from plant (what strength bulb?) and you should be on your way. Great to have you here! 😊

gently poke/cut some holes in the bottom of the cup if there aren't already. And the fan will help dry the soil from the top

i poked 4 holes on edges just before i started growing, today i poked some more on the bottom , pot i started growing my seedling its
polystyrene and i wrapped it with some black tape (read somewhere it keeps roots from getting lights), but also when i take the pot into my hand i see soil is separating from the edges of the pot . any suggestions ?????

Im a cfl fan, especially early in growth. I agree with others here, move those lights closer to reduce the stretching. If your hand is comfortable under the light, then its not too hot, but watch your moisture levels. Good luck !!!!
