    Light burn

Iam 5 weeks in flowering THC bomb.iam getting light burn in the center. Iam using a 600 watt apollo dimmable ballast at a 100%.there are 3 settings 50%,75%,100%.should I dim to 50% to avoid more light burn for last few weeks, because can't raise light any more.

GoodMorning Jay123, Those are some nice looking buds, nice job.
If you can't raise your light anymore, I would definitely dim your ballast some, for sure, maybe even bend your buds away from your light some too, they shouldn't grow much taller anyway at that age.
Is your temperature ok ,in your tent, and have you got a good breeze, blowing on them, and a good exaust fan going?
Nice job with your plants so far though, you sure don't want to burn them up, this late in your grow.
    Welcome to GWE, have fun.

      In addition to the above:
Assuming the very purple stems are only purple on the light side and not from genetics - your plant needs something. (Not N).

I always include a dose of micronutrients in the 5th week of flower and optionally a boost of Cal/Magnesium or Magnesium Sulfate.

Your issue looks more like one of heat, as the buds look great, not showing any signs of stress- not clubbing, etc.

They are going to make it just fine for another 3 weeks before harvest!
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

Usually with light burn you get bleached tops on HID lights. I don’t see that here.
4x4 600w HID empty for summer
3x3 400w HID with Bruce Banner and Skywalker Kush
2x2 65w Quantum Board LED with 4 mother strains
running all simultaneously for a perpetual harvests.

I'm not seeing any signs of light burn. Looks more like a nute deficiency.

I thought it is light burn because its seems to only be affecting right under the light ,and it's only about 12 inches above plants.the outer areas seem greener .but I won't rule out deficiencies. Thanks for your help guys, new eyes always helps.i dim the lights to 50%,hopefully it doesn't hurt or slow down progress

50% dimmed is half the energy output. So slower growth should be expected when compared to 100% energy output.

That’s true, but outside grows get cloudy days,so relax and increase light intensity when able.

Hey Jay123, Are your leaves yellowish just under the light or are they throughout? Are there burn marks on any? I Have attached a photo of light burn stages from my grow and it has not affected the growth to the plants ! If you have yellow throughout it it could be water? Or the plant is letting you know the time is near!! If you zoom over the picture you will see the indicators from start to finish. Clockwise from top left perfect leaf, next, start of burn (RT side leaf) next, total breakdown accelerates. ETC. Hope this helps ! Cooler temps across the tops works wonders.
