Hi, I was reading an article about how similarly CHS presents as Neem poisoning, found this link from NCBI discussing a case of neem poisoning, my question is since we inhale some cannabis with neem oil that passes straight to our blood brain barrier, could CHS simply be neem poisoning? And if it is should we push our laws to include neem oil as an inorganic pesticide?

What about nicotine? An old remedy for bag worms is to boil some chewing tobacco (this kills the mosaic rust) and then add some detergent (as a wetting agent) and then spray the trees (or plants).
If it is extracted from a naturally growing plant, then it is organic.

Great video that explains how the Bt gene has reduced pesticide use and helped keep small farmers healthier and producing larger yields

Was Reading about this a few months ago and stopped recommend anybody using neem oil on cannabis especially in flower.
Thanks for sharing furrysparkleSpace for Rent.

Well just because something is organic doesnt mean its not bad. You can take essential oils from poison ivy. Its organic but do you want to be sprayed with it? Arsenic can be made organically. Castor beans can make a deadly poison.
That being said everything we use comes from this earth. We take it and add things to it ,manipulate it, heat it, cool it, separate it etc etc etc. At what point does it become inorganic since every bit of it started as organic. Just saying.

I grow caster beans too, I use them for gopher control, just plant them between where they come in and my plants they eat the roots and go sh!t themselves to death. I dont want that on me or my weed either!
I myself have a much more restrictive policy as to what is organic, if it has been manipulated in any way (other than natural breeding) it is no longer organic. This means even the wild wheat that grows here on the farm is not organic as it is GMO and now produces a usable head (not that I would use it) thanx to my government and their short shortsightedness! I also am a believer that this GMO wheat is the cause of celiac disease.

BUMPING FOR SAFETY! Remember to never use Neem oil or anything containing Neem during flowering stage! Burning and inhaling Neem oil bypasses our immune system and goes directly to the blood brain barrier and causes CHS! Tell your fellow growers to avoid Neem oil in the flowering stage!Grow and good luck

Why the hell would anyone spray their flowers with anything may I ask?
incorrect usage of products is a safety concern in general.
How are we linking CHS with neem? I saw what happens when a 72 year old injests it.
The other article says CHS is a new symptom. Funny, neem oil has been used on mj for a very long time now. Why are we just seeing this now?
seems like a lot of hype. I actually read that incorrect usage of azamax (neem oil extract) is the cause. And the product introduction date fits the timeline of this new symptom of CHS.4x4 600w HID empty for summer

Improper use of azamax causes CHS. It can be used as a root drench. Not good as a foiler spray. Most people don’t realize that they can’t use it as a plant spray.
also it has been recalled in some states for containing more compounds than detailed on the bottle.

Stop and just think. It kills small organisms fast. Most likely it kills large organisms slow. You may win the race, but you pass all the best things in life on the way.

Chlorine is safely used in drinking water. It prolongs life when used in small amounts. Not using chlorine in drinking water can cause disease and/or death to large organisms. It is only safe to consume in diluted amounts. Same is true with neem oil about safe use and dilution.Last edited by Toker1; 01-17-2019, 11:29 AM.

Toker1 Lmao we can agree and disagree. At low enough doses nothing is poisonous. At high enough dose everything isYou may win the race, but you pass all the best things in life on the way.
