This is the second last batch of autos I will be growing this year. It was fun and I learned a lot but at the end of the day I decided to stick with fem photos.

JohnEmad both the Jack and Bruce by Seedsman seem to be really easy to grow and vigorous plants. I have 2 jack F21 filling up a 4x4 and a jack and 2 bruce in another 4x4 couple weeks behind. Heard good things about both but haven't smoked before. Hope I like it because I will have lots 😅👍

the harvesting area before clean up (that wont happen for a few days) still have my big girls and my buddy has 5 left to do we are seeing how long they will go ,a frost is not forecast for a week or so , I've never harvested a plant in November lol,

I had a similar moment over the summer. Turns out my dehumidifer which was rated 1850W was actually pulling over 2000W. Starts adding up when it's basically.on 24/7!

Wife and I decided to grow tons over the winter and just shutdown next summer because the hydro costs are too high and it's too hard to keep things stable/optimal.

Autos at day 23. Starting to look like something. No training will be done except LST.

Probably not topping (but if I do it will be the tallest sativa strain as it is supposed to take 11 weeks to finish) as they had a slow start so ya, only LST training to be more exact.

root issues ?? one of the gorilla lous that I tried to flux was doing great then it had a branch up and die ,so I cut it off about two weeks later a new branch died ,I ended up cutting it four times before I said f it, it was either root issues or a chip monk eating roots but no other plant did so I think it was root issues

So I gave the Green house girls another round of molasses and water, the buds are big and lite on one plant it has amber so its ready when they fatten/harden up . I'm torn between letting them go and harvest in November a first for me lol or take them down so I can take the GH down before snow

Morning OJ I have the same problem with a gorilla my last one. If I had the light for my GH I would place her in there but that's not and option for me. Mine was just about 1month into flower before the temps dropped and rain began and she was moved repeatedly. It's below 40 at night and we are to get low 30s at night for 7days no rain sunshine but to cold. It's a shame for us really needed it for family. So my husband brought this bent up 7x4 ft. plant into our living room to protect from frost. She has not got a chance without heat and light I told him but he refuses to give up on her.
The calyxes are not swelling at all she is changing colors on the leaves but that's from low temps not ripeness. It's rather a fruitless attempt she's hard to quit on cause she's got 6" colas but no weight no frost what so ever on the sugar leaves. Hope you have better luck with your last outdoor girls. Peace

Ok a first for me I had 1 plant decide to die overnight. Was so upset I didnt take pics. It was about a week out. I go downstairs to water and one baked alaska had all but died. ALl the fan leaves had died. The sugar leaves were fine. I harvested it and will probably be 7 ounces. But I have no clue. My other growers have no clue. Never seen that happen. The other 3 plants, one of the same strain were happy as hell. Oh well

oldjarhead100 I'll double check the fans but the main fan I know is not aimed at it.

But wouldnt that be funny a plant called Baked Alaska not being able to handle 47 degrees?

the first pic is the big fluxed plant ,this is the one where the buds are big but not hard ,the second is a couple of buds from my big girl rock hard ,shes ready but I want to do others first so I can get good pictures, and the thrid pic is of My Alaskan Purple Not ,shes ready as well, so she may go this week

Your plants are looking vibrant, and vigorous still in the greenhouse. You are lucky the weather is holding out for you. My wife, and her brother are visiting their family in upstate NY where the temperatures are much the same as yours. She sent pics where everything is still green. I am at home in southern CO where we will not even reach 32 degrees all week long. Single digits are forecast for night time temps. Fortunately all of my flower is safe, and warm in curing jars. The only good thing about all of this is the grasshoppers will not survive this temporary mass extinction. I wonder if that species would survive a nuclear winter. Or would it be an almost total reset like the KT boundary.

JohnEmad I'm jealous too. Made it to -20 C last night. My boiler could barely keep up. However I still didn't fire up the messy wood stove. Just a a pain in the arse to clean it!

Well the plant that died and was harvested early is at least very very frosty. Almost all milky trichomes so should still come out good. I still have a bit of hand trimming after they dry before I cure them.

I can say one thing for sure; if you grow Baked Alaska or Stoned Henge your carbon filters arent enough. Luckily I have enough cbd flower around the house to explain the aroma. But they rival any strain I've ever grown on odor.

Not sure if I’ll remain in the competition this winter. I’m not having much luck with the ak. I’ve been down a lot health wise too. It’s hard to care for your girls when it’s hard to get out of bed. It’s been 2 weeks almost and it’s still only 2” tall. I think I may have gone too rich on my soil mix. Oh well. I have plenty to unload still of gorilla glue

I hate it when life gets in the way of growing lol ,when we were young and bounced back from everything that made us sick who worried ,now its the little shit that really gets us sick and we bounce back way slower now ,a freakin cold can knock you down for a month .well I hope you are feel better soon there brother , If you have chest congestion get hold of some Mullien and make some tea if its sinus make a tea from eyebrite ,and if you get flu start drinking elder flower tea (or wine) 4 times a day and flu will be gone in 3 or 4 days Those are my top 3 winter herbs to have around in the winter

Light up a bowl, and you'll bounce back.

We finished the woods grow yesterday with the taking of the last 4 plants ,my friend gave me some critical kush clones at the end of June ,I was planing on using them for the next grow but said f it ,I put the 2 inch high clones in 7 gallon pots in July , we weren't expecting much of anything but I was surprised we got a QP from them ,as I said to my buddy it was absolutely free so anything we got was a bonus .
So today I am starting on the last 5 in the Green House ,its been a great season lots of fun and learning . These challenge grows are alot of fun and we learn alot during them ,So for whoever thought them up THANK YOU

No such thing as a small grow for you two, OJ and Spidermite. Tons of work but worth the effort.

Day 26 and 28 for my 3 autos. Well recovered from my rookie mistake of not charging the coco with cal/mag..
Ended up topping the tallest NL/Mxgm after all. It was starting to tower above the others. Seems to hardly notice it and is still the tallest.

yesterdays job was the Fluxed Gorilla Lou it did ok with a yield of 6.5 ounces , I was planing on taking pictures of each branch as I took them down like in pic 6 ,but the next time I walked in GH it was down I have a real eficent partner lol the second pic is my buddy Roscoe he can be home upstairs laying on his bed and hear my voice on the phone from downstairs across the house he starts barking and freaking out cause he just loves me (or it could be he gets food, we go for walks,) either way ive not seen a dog freak out like he does lol, ok the 4th pic is of the fluxed stump I originally tied all the side branches down like the main stem this DID NOT work,I think maybe 2 of the ton I tied down lived and grow out ,so what I learned is that in a manifold its best to stick with 4 or 8 main kolas

OJ my gorilla bomb is just starting to turn purple like yours it's so freakin old now we keep moving it indoors for heat and outdoors for sun. Temps in the low 30s and several 27f overnights. Did yours ever swell and firm up calyxes? Wondering if it's futile trying to ripen this plant? I've never gone this long?
