Well this looks like fun,it's nice to see all the elders spilling OG hippie greenthumb love into the network.Being 27 raised by a Kiwi mom i can't say i was hippie then,but in the psychedelic scene,street art,alternative healing and hitting a few ashrams every season makes me all the hippie i can call my self!

Unfortunately here in the U.S. there is plenty of work, eat, (pay taxes), die. Not dwelling on our hardships instead of the goodness in our lives is what keeps us going. Sometimes it's hard, but having a good attitude goes a long way toward happiness.

This is coming late, Tika, but I was just going through this thread again to look at ages. If I get busted, lose everything and get fired, then I'm kinda fucked I guess. But UNTIL THEN: this insane society will never make me conform to its insanity. I have really come to believe that there's immense freedom in trusting myself to be an "outlaw" in this culture; it's actually the safest place to be, because I know I haven't been brainwashed or lobotomized. I try to be as wise as I can be about what I'm doing, but some of my closest friends do know. I don't regret it. The bottom line for me has to be to do what makes me feel free, alive and happy. Cultivating cannabis and finding the really wonderful crowd on this forum provide that for me. When I'm talking to y'all, I feel I can really be myself, and when I'm tending to my plants, I feel the most extraordinary joy, peacefulness and awe. It's like I'm one with them. This makes life so much better for me.

Hehe, I think the oldies have no problem spilling the age! It's the younger folk I haven't seen to much of lol so far, I've only seen like 3-4 20 somethings here, maybe like 1-2 people in their 30's 😅 I think a lot of people just hang out to see the comments lol

I think quite a few 20 somethings don't have a place to grow. Either still living with parents or renting tiny apartments. I would have a very nice big grow room if I did not have a 20 something living there.

That's exactly what my step dad says lol his son still lives there, but once he's gone, we're turning that room into a grow room! (Hopefully) lol he's not quite as big about it as he used to be, so we'll see.. you're probably right though, they must just need some time! Lol
