Getting a new shed put up any advice

Alright so iv bought a shed to have my tent outside its been awhile sence iv been able to grow but power should be in next week. Then i shall be on my way growing 2 white widows 2 royal gorillas and the 3 automatic sour D to run and get harvested befor i switch to flower on the photoperiod plants. Now i live in Fl and iv got heat and humidity issues but as iv found out its about 60% humidity inside the shed during its hottest part of the day so once the window Ac is put in their it should hold the humidity around 50 to 40% which isnt half bad. Im asking for any ideas that you guys have found growing outside in sheds to make your lives easier to hopefully incorperate it in my routine because as we know i can get seen doing it so just trying to learn. More over i just had my second daughter 8 days ago si hopefully life wont get to hecktic for me anymore lol let me know guys

I grow in my cellar but if I had a shed I would also put my plants in a tent unless their are no windows or places for light to get out keep a shovel or rake in it and when ever you come out bring a tool lol

lol, so Graff is going to come out of the shed with a rake, 3 empty 5 gallon buckets, 2 empty soil bags, 4 root balls and a bunch of empty nutrient bottles.

Hey Graff I don't grow outside in a shed but I do grow inside in an attic. With a window AC you should be in good shape but you may want to pipe some AC into the tent to be sure. HPS lighting and FL sun is going to create some heat. I would put the tent close to the AC and run a 4" flexible hose from part of the AC grates to a tent port. You may need a dehumidifier too but it's hard to know until you have mature plants in the tent transpiring.

Yea without the window Ac it still gets up to 116° inside their good this is i have 150 square ft window Ac in a 10ft by 8ft shed show it should be able to turn that shed into an ice box i have all my 6 in air ducts along woth 1 300cfm intake fan with an 600 cfm exhaust fan running air out of the tent iv found the bigger fan pulling air out also helps drag air in the humidity as long as once the Ac is in their it should drop the humidity down to around 55 to 30% like it did in my room so hopefully it will work out

Graff420 make sure you insulate the shed, use cocking or spray foam to fill all the holes minus your intake and exhaust. Put either a portable or window ac in with something do deflect the airflow from the ac as to not go right onto the plants.

Please visit www.honestgr.ca for reviews on grow equipment. It is going slowly as I am trying to find products to review (and supportive companies!) I do giveaways there, do not tell me your from GWE however.

Yea i plan on useing some exspanding foam called stuff to plug holes and imma trhow some board insulation on the back of the doors to keep bugs from crawling through the crack between the doors. I was planning on buying a second tent to keep my grow going but as i live in Fl its better to have some months out of the year that they are not growing when the cannibis cultivation choppers start flying around looking for ppl tryna harvest outdoors i know if they down find me with any part of the plants in the shed then its perfectly legal already got visited by the police after my last Northern lights grow apparently someone smelled it and called the police and because the tent was in my room ppl seen the light i played it off as i smoke weed and grow tomatos and garlic and cucumbers lmao good thing i always have a secondary garden going always now so when they showed up i was able to show them whats in their and my growing veggies indoor books i bought to make it seem legal if DCF or police come knocking but now its being moved to a shed where imma make it as smell proof and light proof as possible

Congratulations!!!! I too just had my fith son two weeks ago!!!! Children are such a blessing!! But I haven't grown in a shed myself but.. I use my attic an it's hot as balls up there lol.. what helps is a/c runs 24/7 up there at 50percent. I also have a good ventilation system!! I went from having temps struck between 82 an 86 f. To 70 to 76 running my lights at night an dark period threw the day..

I was thinking of using an ac unit in my garage but it would never shut off. I can use my tent in there when it cools off. As long as I can keep it around 70f I should be good. Was looking up some alternatives to getting rid of the heat in my garage with one of these. https://www.homedepot.com/p/iLIVING-...F24V/207174727
