    Molasses

Hey guys was wondering if anyone has used this specific product (or anything similar) to add into their grow. Any advice on the quantity and how often i should use it would be great as i am a novice grower, thank you.

I have some that I am considering adding to the final weeks of flowering in my Coco/Perlite set-up. What is your medium?
Curious to hear what others may say about it in Soil and Coco.
I can tell you that it is a common additive and that you have the correct kind of molasses.

I have used that same exact brand.
I mix a tablespoon per gallon every other time I water.. I grow in soil, I give molasses to feed the microbes in my dirt. They help the plants by breaking down the soil and sharing enzymes with the roots. This is true organic gardening. Living soil.
There are also some trace minerals in the molasses.
Others have varying reasons why/how they use it.
      Happy growing

From what ive gathered most people use it thru the second half of flower with every water only day. Even flush day.

Works in both soil and coco. Not in hydro.

I used that exact product in my grow (in super soil). 1 tbsp per gallon for the (estimated) last month of flower, every watering. All 5 plants turned out great. One thing to watch is that it changes the pH of your water, so make sure you test after you add it. In my case, it brought ~9.0 water down to 6.5, so I no longer needed to add pH down. Bonus!

hello All ... the above is my experience also in organic soil. I used to use it for an additional supply of Potash during flowering. It did seem to cause a flush of vigour during flowering but didn't help the heads get denser. the biggest benefit would be that it feeds soil microbes. much better you investigate what types of Kelp are around (eg: Acadian) and use that if you want to push your flowers. cheers!

Yup, what these guys all said. Any brand of unsulphured molasses will do, organic is a nice bonus. The sulphur is in the preservative that might kill off the microbes you're trying to feed.
Some say you can use it throughout your grow, even during veg and flush.

Right, but is there any benefit when running Coco with chem nutes (e.g. Flora series)?

I would think not, my understanding is that the whole point of the molasses is to feed the microbes in the soil.

Good points. The microbes are breaking down soil into nutrients, like the nutrients that we're blending into our buckets of water, therefore the microbes have nothing to do... No trabajo, no cerveza, but that's backwards.
